I think there was quite a bit of skill shown loading the Chieftain on to that trailer. Gentle and measured with the controls, despite being blasted in the face with water. Very nice.

Honestly it just seems like some glass and a turbo would make that a nice farm machine. It looks pretty decent with all the panels now.

If by “nice” you mean a machine that every cylinder seal will have to be replaced, all the cylinders will have to be rechromed and it’ll probably blow 1 hose of about 30 every time he uses it, then you’re right, it’ll be a nice machine. 😂

Top tip, to owners of machines with hyd rams. Perhaps once every time you use them, operate them through the full range of movement and if possible, leave them sitting with the rams inside the cylinder.

Few hints, dig over the idlers not final drives. When power digging position the bucket angle to cut not drag the face of the teeth. Lots of little tricks to speed production & incur less west & tear.

She's a squirter.... Someone had to say it 😂. Just ran a hose like that on my machine for a few weeks , wasn't bothered as it was on low pressure side , had to lay it up today though as it now leaks like that ram.

Used to work for a plant hire company the powerwash was on hydraulic line of about 30meters we could unscrew the Lance and put drain jet on the end it would happily pull its way thought drains like that ... if your going to have lots of mud and silt it would be a good investment

Ted lives outside now :D The 215 seems underpowered and missing the turbo, but with the engine warm it seemed a lot happier :o) I will take a guess that the turbo version has slightly bigger pumps. It was ripping up the hard ground there though.
