Claude Mouton has some of the clearest, most beautiful, easiest-to-understand French you could ask for. I wish this had subtitles; it would be an even better study aid. And I wish there were more videos of his announcing on KZfaq.

I grew up near Buffalo, NY and watched the Expos Wednesday nights on CBC from Toronto beginning around 1972. "Nous Amours" have been MY TEAM ever since. Today I live in Colorado and whenever I visit Coors Field in Denver I won't hesitate to don my white, red and blue cap and jersey. Thank you for the wonderful recording!

It is something that this originally little but massively expanded temporary ballpark in Montreal had an organ installed in it Then, they wound up using it for eight full seasons so it was really worth having. It has those 60s and 70s drawbar organ voices to it as well as slow and fast rotary voices just like my Yamaha YPT 330 digital keyboard has all these years later. Hopefully this organ went to Olympic Stadium when the Expos moved. Then, when they moved to Washington, they installed an Allen Digital Computer Organ in their new Nationals Park when it was completed in 2008.

I remember my 1st and only game in Jarry Park sitting in the bleachers. I remember the souvenir that i walked out with which was a calendar shaped as a baseball. I wonder if it would be worth anything today, great memories.

I think you missed the point. This is about the atmosphere at Parc Jarry (Jarry Park), not at that monstrosity known as Olympic Stadium. HUGE difference.

I hate it that it was at the expense of the Montreal Expos that Washington DC got a major league baseball team in the Nationals. This was the major league baseball version of the Montreal screw job.
