Yeah most of us did. After my time of studying the occults reading up about and doing much research as possible at the time and even trying some of that. Thank God and Jesus for saving me and Holy Spirit for convicting me. After that time if i watched any movie with occult stuff it would tempt me to go and at least try something like telekenesis and so on. Than God gave me 2 dreams! The one dream there was a lady witch that had made a object float and i was like agh i can also do that and i made object float etc. In dream i knew and experienced demonic presence and knew this powers was not of God. The 2nd dream almost similar but then i saw a man in a white suite and every where i went there he was the whole freaken time!! If i took a bath, or was sleeping next to my wife. he would be there. And that man was a demon. God told me in the dream that if i did eventually harnass those powers i would get the demon that basicly gives you that ability to move objects etc. And God also told me i would struggle really hard to get rid of that demon. That was a wake up call to me ! So i listened and rather avoid watching movies with occult powers.

I am facing a similar situation. For the first time this year we are abstaining from celebrating Halloween, and the rest of my family just can't understand it. But God put it very strongly in my heart that it was time to come out from the world and stand apart. I feel frustrated because my son's public school has a Halloween parade with costumes and candies and of course he's not allowed to participate. They make it so seductive for children, it's truly disgusting. I'm keeping him home that day and we're going to do something fun as a family, an activity that honors God.
