I used to deliver at an Amazon warehouse in Pa. One day in July I went there and saw an ambulance. Naturally I asked if something was wrong. The guard told me no Amazon realized it was cheaper to keep an ambulance there all day and treat workers for heat exhaustion than to run the air-conditioning. The ambulance was there all summer. That is Jeff Bezos.

I am an Author and Amazon won't show my books because I refused to give them 55% of my profit and I didn't give them power over my IBSN. I bought my own ISBN. I haven't had a single sale on Amazon. In fact my books don't populate at all unless a person types in the entire and exact title.

Hey! Did you optimize your listings? You need to target keywords that are relevant for your products, and actually do the so-called on- & off-page SEO. The competition is stiff and it's getting harder day by day. More and more people are looking for ways to get out of their 9 to 5, and it's hard. I've been helping sellers with their eComm issues, and I'm sure I could help you out. If nothing else, I could point out details on your ASINs, which you might want to look into. Hit me up, if you'd like to give it a go. Cheers!

I experienced the same thing. Though I let Amazon populate an ISBN for me because I have only published it through Amazon. But still, zero sales, and my book doesn't populate in search results unless the exact title is searched for. I have given up on my book. I can't afford to pay publishers. I haven't written any more books since because it's been such an awful experience with Amazon.

eBay is the same scam too. eBay, encourage us to offer free shipping. Then, when they take their chunk of the sale, they don't exclude the shipping fee. For instance, if an item sales for $500.00⁉️ They will be charging %14+this and that. Right there, they are taking from us almost $100.00 dollars. Then, if we offer free shipping that can cost around $30.00 with insurance. If our investments in that item was $350.00, we end hardly covering our investments, and 00 profits. In fact, I have lost $ in some of my sales. We, the business owners, are those companies slaves because they pocket in, extremely sick amounts of money from our sales. You got it right ❗ Amazon, gets rich with our hard work. Then, they will consider your sales, like if we got them from free or took it out of the garbage can. They don't consider our $ spend on the investment. Then, they will report all those sales to the tax man, so that the rip off, can keep going.

I quit buying anything from Amazon after selling as a small business owner on their marketplace. Their practices were horrible, and hurt very small businesses the most. After spending most of a year getting my online toy shop set up on their marketplace, they notified me in October that I would be shut down from November through mid January due to low sales (but I would be able to sell again after the Christmas season was over). That's the main time for sales of toys! I built a new online store off Amazon in 30 days and never looked back. I've boycotted Amazon ever since.

We used to sell on Amazon. What Amazon does is this: THey have all the numbers, they know what sells and at what price. Once they know a product is making money, they will highjack the sellers listing by selling the same item through the sellers listing. And since they can buy in huge quantities, they can underbid the original seller. So the seller will be left with boxes and boxes of stock that no one is buying any more. WE lost quite a bit of money and ended up giving away hundreds of items to charity, just so we don't have to look at them any more. Never again

It's not really that simple. Listen I hate Amazon as much as the next person but building thousands of warehouses and creating an online platform to deliver anything you want in 2 days costs money. And if Amazon is increasing sellers ' sales by 10x for 5% more costs that seems like a steal.

@@JohnnyLuy Well, they have expenses, no? Fuel, employees, permits, taxes, insurance (food, property etc.) There is this strange assumption that the money you pay for a meal at a restaurant goes immediately to the owner's pocket. Running a restaurant or a food truck is the most exhausting and highly unrecommended business to get into. There is so much loss, and it's rare to see businesses like that thrive. Most get into for the passion of food. It's good that you make your food at home. I do too. However, I go to restaurants on the occasion but I know that I'm paying for food I don't want to make at home that they probably make much better than me, the experience and for the good time. I made authentic ramen once. It was too time-consuming. I'll be happy to pay the $25+ next time at a restaurant. Food for thought (no pun intended). Have a good day.

I dont buy off Amazon either but to be honest here, this entire 23 minute clip is an ad for PublicSquare. Tucker C is a sponsor. If you go to the Public Square website, TCs photo is on the home page, in the form of a large banner. Also, the Amazon documentary he is talking about is about 4 months old, less than an hour long and on a youtube channel with less thn 200 subs and less than 10k views (The ad about Public Square has more views than the documentary itself). Not trying to insult anyone but this is all an elaborate ad for Public Square, that TC gets paid to discuss.

I absolutely HATE AMAZON! I have only used them 2 times. The first time the item that was sent was "EXPIRED". The second item I ordered off them was a mattress during Covid. It took 3 months to get it. I couldn't get ahold of them and when I finally did the woman said... "Oh we are just dealing with essentials right now." I told her" I'm a 60 year old woman sleeping on the floor. A mattress is an essential. Send it to me now or cancel the order.". Had it a few days later. NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I EVER USE AMAZON.

I was contracted with a company who delivered for Amazon around 2016. That company use to use small envelopes to deliver small products. Eventually small boxes were used instead or medium ones. I found out they upped the size of the boxes in order to charge more. I very rarely order from Amazon and will order directly from the sellers website.

Because they could provide services that don’t require human contact where “mom and pop” shops couldn’t? It’s a pretty basic concept. Amazon profited because people depended on them to ship them their needs. A blessing to those who couldn’t go out in public. How could they not profit in a situation like that?

I ran an Etsy Store for a year and ended up closing it because they were censoring my products, which were apparel/tshirts in support of women and girls in sports and their safe spaces. When I would post a t-shirt in support of Riley Gaines or against men in women’s sports, they would take them down and send me a nasty-gram indicating that some of my merchandise goes against their policies. Those were my best sellers. Despite my efforts to appeal the decision and attempts to speak to a person, they never responded in any way shape or form. I’d love it if Tucker would bring this issue to light.
