Well, I wouldn't call them bright in real life but that depends on the room acoustics and personal taste.

In my opinion Exposure 3010 s2d is not bright at all, but like always it's better to try different amps before buying. On my list to try today would be Exposure, Naim, Primare, Primaluna, Parasound, Anthem. Rega is probably not for you.

I would recommend to save more money and get the Exposure 3010s2d. Of course it all depends on speakers and personal preferences.

With those particular speakers I prefer Exposure 3010s2d. There is not a big difference in over sound signature but when it comes to timing it's a different story. Basically MF is late, slow, Exposure is on time, music has better rhythm.

The new Exposure 3010 s2d sounds like tube preamplifier + ss power amp. It's smooth but also quite agile with a good bass control, I like it for a good dynamics. Naim xs2 has it's own sound. With my speakers it sounded forward, agile. Very good timing and good details but I would strongly recommend audition Naim before buying.

Exposure sounds kinda like Naim, but without the harshness if this makes any sense.

Yes, the 3010 has plenty of power. It feel more like 200w. Although more power usually sounds better.

Hi, I am using Yamaha CD-S2100 as a CD player and DAC. At the back of the unit there are 3 digital inputs, I am using the USB connection to my laptop with Foobar2000 software. On HDD I have flac and wave files from online shops, I also copy most of my CD collection to HDD.

It's high gloss white. They discontinued that colour in 2020.

@@clintonwalker5000 It depends. Aria 936 are very nice sounding speakers with plenty of bass (it might be too much bass depending on room, amplifier and preferences). For high level of details you can try some good class D amps like Primare or Devialet, otherwise Naim or Exposure are pretty good overall. You can also consider Aria 925 - it has less bass but it's also less fuzzy with placement. There is also large second hand/demo market in UK, Sopra no1 might be very tempting. Keep in mind Sopra is design for serious audiophiles, no forgiveness here.

So I’m looking for my first high end speaker I like the look and from your demos the 936 , my music sources all digital I have a Aries G2 streamer chord TT DAC, I like bass but I also love detail , so I will also be looking for a new Amp. @@clintonwalker5000 Excellent DAC and streamer. For the first high end speaker I would seriously consider used one. If you decide to upgrade to Kanta then you won't lose too much money. Also speakers can only be judge with amplifier as a combo. Not every amp works well with every speaker. Good luck !

It's MF m5si. Depends on particular song. I like Led Zeppelin "Stairway to heaven " on both amps but when it comes to Queen "Breakthru" I prefer Exposure.

@@gottrekk5798 Thanks. I wonder how the 3010s2d holds up against the 2510... I auditioned the 2510 and it was simply amazing, made the Hegel H120 sound like an entry level slow amplifier.

@@georgedomse if you like 2510 then there is no reason to spend more money. I am pretty sure 2510 can easily drive even Focal Kanta 2.

@@gottrekk5798 thanks - the 2510 was a new one, the 3010s2d a used one, so it was cheaper than the 2510. I bought it, now it comes to careful speaker matching. For now, I will use it with my KEF LS50 Meta's.
