An investigation by The Indian Express of land registries - since the Supreme Court verdict allowing the Ram temple in November 2019 and upto March 2024 - show an upto 30 per cent rise in the number of land transactions in at least 25 villages in Ayodhya and adjoining districts Gonda and Basti that fall within a radius of 15 km of the temple. Many of these deals are by family members or those closely linked to politicians across parties and government officials.

Land Grabing Ayodhya Stayle 👇🏾👇🏾 Some people came and asked farmers to sell their land to them or else the government would take it from for a cheap price. Poor people cannot fight the government. If government want to take the land, general public can’t stop them either. So, in such a situation, farmers sold it to the "company"!!!!

I thought Chownamein Deputy CM of Arunachal Pradesh, his property is confined to only Arunachal and Delhi . But, after watching this news report it seems his business empire is much vast and diverse too. He is the longest sitting MLA in Arunachal Pradesh and earlier he was a minister in Congress govt during congress regime and now he is serving at DyCM in BJP govt. Very influential person.

Who is at fault? The buyer or the seller? People of Ayodhya are sure, from 3 years,that there will be demand for their land and should not have sold. If the buyer forced the sell,it is a big scam.

So whats the problem. If they are paying the price for that land and occupying it legally without any illegal means. It is pure business if we also go to a vegetable market we buy vegetables at much higher price than what is paid to the farmers for the same. If the selling and reselling of land is happening it also provides stamp duty and taxes to the government. If big industries are coming they will need land to operate their business. They may hire and buy raw materials from the local community which will boost the economy.

@@fleur257 The land which you are talking it was taken by the district administration for developmental works and I agree with you that government should provide a handsome compensation to those who had lost their lands in these areas. But in the video it was saying that the land is being sold by private entities and also being buyed by private entities. So what can the government do here. If you have a piece of land and you want to sell it then how can the government interfere in this regard. Whether you want to sell your land or not it is totally the decision of the local people who are selling it. Is the government selling the land there. No it's the local people who are selling their lands. So, these are two different issues.

If they are facing problems due to selling their lands and not getting any benefits then why are they selling their lands. And what do you mean by outsiders. Don't Indian people buy land in other countries or don't people of uttarpradesh don't own lands and properties in other states. If everyone starts thinking like you then there will be no inter state movement of people and products. Be logical. Don't try to underestimate someone by saying that he/she has half the knowledge.
