Considering that F-Zero X had very low polygon counts, it's no surprise that it looks that way when rendered "only" at 480p. Jaggies and aliasing come from polygon edges, so if you lack polygons, you lack jaggies.

They'd look even more amazing via Dolphin. ;)

It's not THAT pristene. The edges and corners show some white and are no longer "crisp" physically. Also the "flap" on the box is somewhat bent. I cropped those off in the image. The box was put into a larger cardboard box specifically for game boxes, so it never saw sun or dust. Said cardboard box was then stored upstairs (NOT in the attic) rather than downstairs resulting in minimal humidity. tl;dr - I don't need the box for playing the game, so it was put away.
