Watch extended highlights from City's eventful Premier League clash with Chelsea at the Etihad...
City and Chelsea shared the spoils after what was a pulsating Saturday night Premier League encounter.
Former City star Raheem Sterling had struck on 42 minutes to send Mauricio Pochettino’s side in ahead at the break.
And with City spurning several fine chances it looked as if the visitors might claim all three points.
However, with seven minutes left, Rodrigo fired home a deserved leveller with a fierce deflected drive.
City sought a late leveller and also had a 94th minute VAR check for a possible handball in the Chelsea box turned down as both sides settled for a point apiece.

He's only good with rebounds and tap-ins all which come to a very low conversion rate. He's influence on pitch is negligible. Make no mistake, Halland is not World Class period

He's job on pitch is made miles easier for him by other incredibly gifted players only for him to execute his so much acclaimed tap-ins. Take the fact that you're a super mancity fan out of the equation and watch closer and you will notice there's almost not any kind of genius with him on the ball. The Kdbs, Rodris, silvas en fodens who are genuinely World Class have to put in an incredible amount of work for him to even score 1 or 2 goals. It's all hype on Halland's behalf from such an incredibly wealthy side. Haland is not world class but a good striker. No hate but Just wait and watch as you gather more evidence

It was a tough game overall, especially in the attacking department, we created enough chances and had so many shots but the finishing wasn't there, which happens to all the teams at some point, what's more important now is to back the team for the rest of the season and go back to winning ways against Brentford on Tuesday.

For me it’s not about Sterling cutting back in, Walker always rushes in and he made Sterlings mind up to cut back in, all he had to do was get there and guide him to take a left footed shot. I love Kyle and he is so important for us but he can be one of our best players then make stupid mistake which leaves you confused, btw the goal is not all on him, we were not patient with that ball for Alvarez and it hurt us.

@@silverflames5860 Of course, but it was not like recent Grealish was doing anything to draw defenders or he was speeding up the ball flow. All he does is not really challenging defenders, slowly going back or sideways and then making a backward pass. So he is a non threat AND a waste of time. With Doku at least they know not to leave him alone or defend with at least 2 waiting for him in case he dribble past a defender, but with Grealish all they need is one defender making him since we all know he's not going to risk anything. What I think is wrong with Doku is not that he lose the ball but what he does after he lose the ball or when it's 50/50. He gives up too easily like it's not his responsibility whereas Grealish will fight harder for the same situation.

Those who think there's a handball foul (9:37), you better look at LOTG no. 11 (Fouls and misconduct) Handling the ball: *touches the ball with their hand/arm when it has made their body unnaturally bigger. A player is considered to have made their body unnaturally bigger when the position of their hand/arm is not a consequence of, or justifiable by, the player’s body movement for that specific situation. By having their hand/arm in such a position, the player takes a risk of their hand/arm being hit by the ball and being penalised. So, in the opinion of the referee, that's a natural handball - not be penalize.
