If he becomes a champion on the BMW than he will be great but far from legendary, if he goes to Moto GP and win the title than he would be legendary. First we have to wait and see if he becomes the champion on the BMW, he now has the bike that is faster than the Ducati and only a handfull less bhp than the Ducati.

Championship contender. Toprak only needs the topspeed, he brakes later than anyone on every single bike out there. And the BMW is more powerful than Yam and Kawa. He will surprise for sure, WSBK is all about talent. Where is the next Ducati behind Bautista? Nowhere!

@@windi1982 he needs a bike that can brake late and is stable like the Yamaha. It's not only talent but the bike have to suits the rider. Honda is one of the fastest bike with topspeed but they are nowhere same as BMW. The Ducati has a good topspeed but not as good on the brakes.

You know the Honda is as fast as the Ducati and sometimes faster? Even the BMW was faster on some tracks as the Ducati. And if its the bike how come the other Ducati riders where no where near Bautista

ahhhh now you really have to give Bautista credit, even though he is lighter & maybe gets away out of the corner into straits just enough faster but there is a downside to his size. He cant throw his weight around to effect as well as say ToPRaK. . .[imo]. So Bautista is riding a wild horse that thinks he is a mosquito on the seat he he he...ha ha. But ya know what I mean. So got to say he can ride & this weight thing they are inserting for what 5kilo or something. If he can wear it it would be better I would think, hell maybe an ADVANTAGE hmmmmmm? Depends on the track some tracks the Yamaha was faster. Also BMW a lot of dnfs unfortunately last year

it has the power, like Honda, but a looot still has to be sorted with that bike..I'm afraid it has structural/chassis issues too beside electronics..we'll see in February..

So is Marc Márquez,so is Rossi, so is WSBK.You don't read any news or experts' comments.Why do you think new rules are coming? And the weight rule to stop one rider is killing the sport and shows what moaners there are. Never heard them should for a weight rule when he was on the crap Honda or where they? And if Toprak is so good as they say why isn't he winning on bike thats almost on par with the Ducati. And if he is that good why isn't he in the Moto GP as the next Marquez? @@BG-rb6ey depends on the track, some tracks the BMW is much faster say 10kmh, most of the time when they are faster its 3 or 4 kmh. BMW is sometimes as fast or faster than the Ducati's same as the Honda a really fast bike. Only thing is a lot of DNFS last year with all BMW riders, first BMW rider was Gerloff on P12?? They need to sort the engine issues out and get a better tyrewear otherwise I am afraid that they will not fight for the title
