can we all just acknowledge what a national treasure Dolly is? Unpretentious, honest to a fault and genuine. I love interviews with Dolly, because everyone who interviews her tries to trip her up, get her to answer questions previously asked in a different way. Dolly Parton is was and always will be the most honest and sincere person ever.

This is a very humble and grateful human being. Focused on those who contributed to her rise, first. From her mother, father, husband, and family, to those in the musical business. She shifts our attention to those, whom she loves dearly. Her generosity in helping thousands of others goes hidden because of who she is. A gentle, gracious soul who will remain at the top eternally. God bless you always. 💕

I wonder how many of the people Norah interviews end that interview by saying, "You're sweet and you did a good job." Stick around for a LONG time, Dolly, because the world is nowhere near ready to give you up. I have been a fan since before I knew Dolly's name. All I knew was she was the blonde lady who sang "Dumb Blonde". That was in 1966 and if I'm counting correctly that means I have been a fan for almost six decades and I'm not tired of her yet. I am very happy to see that she is still going strong.
