THANK YOU Norah for doing this piece on Jim. I've had the honor and pleasure of working with him several times and it is an ABSOLUTE PLEASURE and PRIVILEGE to do so. He's going to be MISSED during the NCAA Tournament

Thirty-seven years is a long time to love doing something. I love that there are so many underdogs playing this year. He has a great attitude. Great story.

Jim Nantz is the goat when it comes to broadcasting. He is the equivalent of Tom Brady and I love the fact he’s spending time with his kids.

Jim reminds me so much of the late, great Pat Summerall. He knows exactly how much to say and when to say it. He is never guilty of talking too much. Classy to the extreme. A pro’s pro. Thank you, Jim.

GOAT. March madness will be strange without Nantz on the call. He still will be calling NFL and golf for CBS though. Not retiring all together.

An absolute legend. He makes you feel like he’s in your living room having a conversation with you. I could meet him for the first time, and I’m sure it would be a very easy conversation for me. Not something I could do with most celebrities.

So is he going away from NFL, I would honestly be heartbroken, he gets so much flaque now because of Romo, but he really is amazing, for every Mahomes play there’s Nantz calling it

I am almost 56, the three best sports journalist in my lifetime are Jim Mckay, Al Michaels and Jim Nantz.the only weakness that Nantz has is having to work with Tony Romo. Romo is brutal. it does not matter if you were the quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, that does not make you a good analyst. Aikman is a price example. i think Greg Olsen might be the best analyst. mark sanchez is come a long way. Nantz working with Billy Packer was excellent. in the later years with Clark Kellog have been outstanding.
