Actress Nicola Coughlan told Anthony Mason about her acting journey, landing popular roles in "Derry Girls" and "Bridgerton," connecting with audiences and more in a sitdown interview at Lady Mendl's Tea Salon in New York City. "I think it doesn't really matter what you make - you want people to feel something," said Coughlan, adding that it's a "beautiful thing" to take people to another world.

She’s very youthful-looking but age is a very important factor for maturity. I don’t think a younger actress with her body type would be as comfortable in her skin as Nicola is! I absolutely adore her!!

Nicola is gorgeous and a great conversationalist. I hope that she’ll remain a constant on the Bridgerton press tours for future seasons because she has been a champion since the beginning so much so that her presence has become reassuring. I remember when she announced the plot of season 3 and how scared she was which I empathized with. 14:24 Wow, I needed to hear that. I share in her relief and look forward to seeing it. ❤️

She’s so naturally funny, well-spoken, sweet and charismatic. She’s just adorable and like a positive shining star. Nicola deserves this sm what a talent. Nicola is so passionate about her work, from her Iconic roll in Derry girls as Clare devlin, she literally make a notebook about her so she could understand the character more deeply, she puts all her heart, energy, talent in every project she is involved and I'm sure that on S3 she is going to be amazing, she is already a STAR and completely deserves it 🥹

the cast did a perfect job in portraying teenagers. their real ages were never an issue
