We are a couple who are building our own home from the ground up in the mountains of West Virginia. After living near the city our entire lives we finally decided to sell it all, pack up our 3 kids and live in an RV on our 73 acres while building our own debt free, off-grid house and learning to live a more self-reliant life.
Our house build is documented entirely on our main channel "Wild Wonderful Off-Grid" and the buiness/work related side of our life can be found on our secondary channel "Josh and Erin- The After Show". Here you will see us renovating our Cafe, opening/operating the Cafe with goods from our farm, building/furnishing/running our short term rentals, finding/operating our other real estate investments and more.

That ending was hilarious! I always have to watch these a couple of times 'cos Josh speaks so fast my British ears can't tell what he's saying. Truly grateful to have found WWOG, Trent and Allie and The Nomadic Movement. Amazing people doing amazing things. From building your own home to starting a farm, your kids immersed in it and taking on some of the workload, renovating a second home, starting a business...... I mean seriously! Most of us struggle to keep up with one job! Erin for President next I reckon. (Soz Josh, she wears the pants!)

Erin has worked with slowing Josh down which he has, I easily understand him now, he has hearing loss, his ability is remarkable. I worked with my granddaughter who started stuttering, trying to speak as fast as her thoughts, I explained and would just say slow down, it quickly resolved. She is studying Anatomy now has a unique photographic memory, she created for herself around age 11 we spoke about it. Ways to encourage our children’s unique abilities, they all have them. ❤

Woven ground cover from growerssolutions is great stuff!! You won't be weeding!!! We changed from landscapers stuff as it didn't last and we had to weed. This woven ground cover is so nice. Just a helpful piece of advice. Black mulch next to your building foundation will bring in ants. Rock is always your best option when next to your foundation. Loving watching this all come together!
