A person can get charged with extortion if they tried to threaten or intimidate another person to gain some sort of advantage, whether it is money or to try to keep a victim or witness in a case from pursuing a claim against the defendant or testifying against the defendant at trial.

I am a victim of sextortion. That messed me up so much. My perpetrator wanted 250 every friday or else he'll send out my picture. I was scared for a whole month this perpetrator took 1200 from me :(.

It was an extortion. She wanted them damn keys. She threaten me with a gun and she was sent by the group covering whatever the fuck they want to be. #rico
