Fun fact... if you're broke and can't afford the chrome dip or whatever, you can use your old eyeshadow! I have done it before and it looked just fine! Hope this helped some of yall! :)

It's very easy. Just buy some chrome powder and a nail model template. That chrome powder applies perfectly with no effort!

It’s because the powder is under the water drop lookin thingies, the powder is shining through the clear acrylic that’s why simply painting over it wouldn’t make it shine like that.

Maybe just: apply top coat to the whole nail, cure it, buffer it so it doesn't shine no more, wipe it off with alcohol, paint the design you want with black (chrome powders shine better), cure it, apply the powder over the part where the design is, cure it, brush off any loose powder, top coat it, cure it and DONE You save a lot of powder and can pretty much do any shape or design you want turn shiny and fancy

I just got a variety pack of chrome and halo powders and I love them! I make cosmetics so I have a lot of colorants that I need to play with because I am new to doing my nails. I have temperature changing and solar pigments. I did a really neat nail where I sprinkled powder cured, did another layer with some different powder, it was 3d where my nails looked completely different when I was cold and hot.

I’m not a nail expert but I think your supposed to use some type of liquid and put it on the nail to your design, then put the powder so you don’t waste all of that like what this person did?
