As part of our #extraordinarypeople celebration, meet Katy, a Primary School Teacher from Brighton says we need to change the narrative about the so-called ‘lost generation’. “It’s not the lost generation. Let’s start talking about the bounce-back generation.”
Public Service Day was launched by the United Nations in 2003 to celebrate the contribution those in the public sector and civil service make to our society. Since 2003, the day has barely been acknowledged in the UK. But more than ever, it’s so important to recognise the work our public services do and the difference they make to us all. They could use all our support for this Public Service Day on 23 June.
