Totally understand picking the , but the Blackwing would be my daily driver. The price and maintenance is somewhat affordable. Plus manual transmission and that glorious exhaust note.

I don't have disagreement with the GT3. I just think the CT5-V Blackwing deserved it more, for the courage it took to build such a car (V8, manual, RWD, balanced), and to execute it so brilliantly.

Obviously the video is fantastic, and the commentary exceptional. However, about halfway through the video I noticed the golden record in the background and my heart smiled. haha

Spoiler: Ford GT on old tires in the wet was the most thrilling to drive.

I found you guys earlier last year, and I must say, no other currently broadcast/ streamed automotive show does it better. Your cinetography is on the level of the best, you guys found the right sauce as far as teh comedy and humor of the automotive show world that the original ( by original I mean when the show returned in the modern era ) top gear cast, while not copying them directly and making the car humor style your own. I mean it, you guys do great work and as long as you keep your channel fresh and inspired I think everyone with Throttle House has a very bright future. I dont really want to purchase a streaming service to watch you, but frankly Id love to see you guys get a netflix or amazon prime show. You would absolutely nail it and with their promotional chops Throttle House will draw a much larger crowd. Anyways keep it up fellas, I greatly appreciate all your hard work and content.

I understand your hesitation on giving the porsche the car of the year, but not because it's a predictable choice but because it's also, like the lucid, way over $100,000. I think it'd be ok to either say, we're only giving the car of the year to a vehicle under $100,000 or give a car of the year in two categories: 1. Cars under 100,000 and therefore in the realm of normalcy and attainablility and 2. Cars over $100,000. Love your show, thanks for a great year.

All the cars mentioned in vdo are amazing (i love electric cars but my personal favourite car in this video is the great BMW M5 CS), but, i absolutely love and have immense respect to Thomas & James & the whole TH-team for mentioning the GOAT LFA. That car is a great timeless classic, as they say here, & supposedly the best of Japan. The 'disrespect by unacknowledgement' bcoz of not getting the recognition it deserves is huge on this legendary car. Don't believe me? Go check every EVERY review of this car. I could not agree more with your choice. I daily an RS6 and have a 991 Carrera S as a weekend toy. In the past I was guilty of thinking the Porsche GT drivers were a bunch of snobs and assholes for no reason….and I still do, but I got to drive a 992 GT3 demonstrator and I can say without question that it is a vehicle that is on another PLANET of handling. If I might suggest something for next years picks perhaps you could pick some cars based on their value for dollar spent. I wouldn't have been surprised if the BMW M3 CS ended up there considering all the reviews, but this Porsche feels like a true winner as well. For me, the 911 is the most beautiful car ever built and if life would ever be so kind to me, a remod 911 in the style of Ruf, Von Schmidt or Singer would be appreciated... The Blackwing is such a bigger swing, at a great car, than the GT3. I love the boys from the GT group and yet all they did was add double wishbone suspension to the front of a car, that has existed for 50 years. Plus it tramlines and acts extremely nervous due to that upgrade off the track.

Your passion is so obvious to the viewers. We love what you do and I'm so happy that you guys are able to make a career out of something that I have wanted to do ever since I was 8 years old. It always makes me happy when I watch your videos, and honestly I love the content on this channel just as much as on the main channel. Keep it up guys! Also, I am extremely happy that Thomas bought an M2. Congrats man, I'm glad you're enjoying it.

Never a doubt of what was the car of the year to me. Porsche GT department is the best in the game, bar none. Even the Cayenne turbo GT is a marvel of engineering for what it's able to do. Now the GT3 has a double wishbone front suspension and turns in even better than before. Game changing, no. But constant evolution makes perfection.

You guys have been my favorite of the best automotive reviewers of the year. Seriously great stuff all around by the whole crew. Looking forward to another year of intro shenanigans!
