Steven, if you didn't recommend the upgrades he needed for that truck to run like it does, there was just no way that thing could have handled the power like it does.. somewhere else he'd be coming back week after week to get it right, Great Job again L.M.R.

Everyone wonders why Chevy doesn’t put theater high horsepower trucks like ford and dodge. I believe it’s because Chevy realizes 90% of the public can’t afford such a price tag so they don’t waste the production cost.

Not true. I bought a single cab 1500 (more than 1,000lbs lighter) 4x4 with a procharged 5.7L, 6" lift, 35's, etc. Cost me $50k to get the truck & then boost it, cam it & tune it.

I have 2005 z71, and i would love this exact build on my daily, and it still be a daily i really just need you guys to do mainly the engine transmission and rear end and maybe some other odds and ends since you'll have the truck. How much will something like this cost me, i know it won't be cheap i just need to know what im dealing thanks

Totally love the build and I have the same truck with the same thoughts, but the big question is… What did you do about the driveshaft? Last thing I wanna do is wind up on the roof sliding forward at 100+ miles an hour because that’s just not in my budget.🆒🍺

It hard to beat a TRX, but mine has much better parts, 1300hp transmission, moser axles, ARP studs, true trac posi., TSP 427 with cnc LTx heads. Hennessy TRX 1000 are 170k +, raptor r are 170k.

We upgraded the axles to moser with ARP studs. Trans was built by LMR. Trans case is stock. It should hold up. Haven’t looked into an upgrade.

Bout the only time you would have to change the alternator pulley is if you went to a 8 or 10 rib pulley setup. If your plans are above 10# of boost I’d go for at least 8 rib. The 10 rib setup on my truck was 1800.00

Running the numbers conservative she’s crank numbers 940hp / 920tq. That’s only at 13psi. Pump gas tune.

The key to those numbers is that 920 tq. That is the results of adding a twin screw and a big inch stroker….. torque monster!!! Not bad for a daily driver…

Those tires and wheels are 130# a corner. 40# heavier than what you would find on a TRX. And 60# than stock.
