@16:36 sorry Adam you said something incorrect again. The begode logo on the screen is by far the most important part of the screen. I couldn't imagine using any tiny screen while riding at high speed unless the screen includes a logo to remind me who manufactured the the device. Kind of crazy that King Song has not copied this amazing feature for the S20 screen... 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Doesn't it seem like they couldn't figure what to really make this wheel? Their focus was all over the place. They prioritized little bits of half-hidden flash from lighting, & even put speakers in place of what should have been a good brake light. What a head-scratcher of a wheel. Your review was great though, & very appreciated. I'm most curious about the S20, for sure. I hope you get that one as soon as it hits the market.

Perhaps when Adam plugged in the charger to check for sparks, the wheel turned off transport mode.

I can see the disappointment, I hope the Abrams turns that around. I am waiting for the Abrams video, but little worried about the so called cut out going on with them. Let’s just hope the s20 doesn’t have too many bugs when it comes because I think I’ll be holding off on these new wheels to probably to late 2022.

I personally think the s20 will be THE best first batch release of the new 2022 wheels just because they are pretty much building off of a similar platform to the s18, and just beefing everything up... a LOT.

Nice honest review man. Has you pointed out once again, Gotway hasn't apply safety on this wheel like seeing spark when connecting the charger, no spin kill button, and both handles being to sharp and uncomfortable. And the wheel isn't waterproof. I guess I'll wait on the next batch.

I am honestly a sad that everyone ditched the hollow motor concept. I think it's more reliable by design and easier to disassemble. They just needed to redeisgn the motor side lids to cover the bearings (like they do on axle motors) and there won't be any issues with the bearing

It seems to me, all of the new wheels we have seen so far, have no improvements over previous offerings, but the price has gone up $1000. Probably the safest so far is the V12, but it is slow and has short range if ridden 'excitedly'... my last hope is that the S20 will eventually arrive and have decent range if ridden fairly hard... they say it will have 200 km range, but that is probably at 20 kph with a 50 kg rider... if it can't do 100 km ridden 'sportily' with my 90kg weight, I will just stick to what I have, a Nik + and a Sherman. I refuse to spend astronomical amounts of cash on wheels that I don't see as being any real improvement on what I have. I think the wheel manufacturers see us as idiots who will pay big bux for 'shiny things' whether they are any good or not! That trolley handle is a trap. If it rains and water sits around the handle, the water may not go inside. If, however, you stop and raise the trolley handle, it will open the flood gates. That is a deal breaker for me, as is the charge ports. As with the others we have seen so far, and if the S20 turns out to be a let down, not worth the extra money imo

The sound boxes, bad LED, overall tons of plastic. Around their old motor for a new price tag. S20 is my hope as well.. let's wait

The V12 is ... Slow you said ? It is the fastest 16" wheel with a lot of margin for safety and good build construction. Acceleration is fairly similar to the Nik+. To me, any wheel that can cruise 65+ is a "high speed wheel".

@@TheThunderwars Yes, but it can only cruise fast until 50% battery, then you have to baby it... My Nikola plus (1840Wh) suffers the same, but the babying needs to happen at around 20% battery. I have been asking the experts on here if I have a strange Nikola... unusual that Relive and EUC World (paid up) both have my Nik doing over 70 kph regularly with no beeps or tilt back? ... However, the V12 hasn't landed in Australia yet, we just have one for evaluation... and it (this particular one) suffers (or the rider does) range anxiety from 50% and below.... fantastic above 50%, just not alot of range (this unit) kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gJ-ndqpjutO0iZc.html However, this is a thread on the GotBull Commander, so we better not wander off topic haha

Observations, manufacturer States do not use this product in the rain and you make a big deal of where water can ingress. Battery very hard to extract, just wonder what your comments would be if it was easy? You found the batt sticker but that's not what is necessarily inside. It's a shame you have fallen out of love with Gotway as you were such a fan and influencer early on. Maybe they would have listened to you as a fan but perhaps not with the bias, they may well regret not having an open ear. I invested big (for me anyways) and purchased my MSP (myewheel) largely based on the fun you had on your review on this wheel. Love my MSP and so far so good, it's still a beast. Also, not sure your Rode mic is on, looks good though. Still, I love your content especially the ride reviews, you're very good at describing how wheels ride. You are a great contributer to the community imho, you, Ian (speedyfeet), Marty and isthereanyfood (great tech knowledge) to name but a few. I'm going to have to rewatch this vid as it does seem like a very odd design on first watch. Sniff sniff chemicals, hahaha. Ride on dude...

I'm struggling to understand if this wheel needs a firmware update. The wheel isn't listed for possible updates on the begode app, but it recognizes it as the commander immediately. Any feedback will surely help, thanks!

@@mr_wrongway yes its true, new motor in batch3 M.Pro is high torque, also new bearings and some smaller updates. Review of this new version would be very usefull. M.pro HT seems to be much better than old one.

Extreme Bull, not the best name for anything really. Probably sounds good in Chinese. I'm banned because I'm 63, doesn't sound very fair to me. No excuse for not making decent foot plates they have plenty of quality aftermarket items to copy. Some of the failures of these wheels really only need attention to detail over spending any real money, I don't see why they can't get their act together. Interested in seeing your review of it in action.

No transport mode because there isn't a lift switch. Begode couldn't go thru the trouble of developing a different method like Veteran did with the Sherman lol If Inmotion and Kingsong continue to make fast wheels now then Gotway is gonna be in trouble.

The problem is that if something falls info the charge port during riding or a short in the circuitry - it will cut off. Shorts ar also damaging the battery

Could you install the mud guard in the front of the wheel and ride it backwards? You could install a small, bright, bicycle lamp one the handle. Yes, it’s ugly « hacking » a design flaw… but at least you could use the speaker properly. 🤷♂️As for the back light, a bit of red plastic in front to turn it into a red light… No?

The wheel isn't worth the price given the quality and attention to detail but it's funny how hardcore EUC fanboys drooling over the performance and range will still buy no matter how many dumps ppl take on begode and it's wheels. Some ppl just love to take Ls and complain when their wheel suddenly smokes, acting all surprised like "omg how could this happen?? 😱" like shut up, you're the reason we can't have nicer things!

Companies just make them cheaper, and cheaper.. (in look and quality) If the wheel breaks faster.. They can simply sell another one, or replacement parts.. They need more quality control for sure.. What a shame.

You will regret selling the Sherman, yet it has secure batteries with communication with the motherboard, if one cell is lower than the others the motherboard does know it, on commander we can kill the battery because there is no return from the low threshold of the BMS and that's the start of most fires During use, a dead cell in a pack.it's been a long time since you have to stop believing in begode for safety

The Sherman has some of the best and most reputable 18650's ever made- Panasonic NCR18650. Battery fires didn't become commonplace until the introduction of 21700 cells.

i believe in shipping items with ion batteries anything being sent by land or water DOESNT need the ion battery sticker BUT if it were to be sent by AIR then it DOES require the ion battery sticker

Supposed range. Monster pro 241km Commander 230km Sherman 220km Abrams proven small range 112km. Z10 90km Spin Monster pro ride 92.5kph Commander spin 79 Sherman spin 97 Abrams ? Z10 with mod ride 58kph I thought battery safety on sherman would be better but you seem not to impressed. Seems like tilt back od design. Wheels peaked now slowing. Monster pro fastest ride in vid ive seen is 92.5kph. Sherman you cut out at 84kph It should have tilted you back. Uniphsyco did 88kph.

Motors usually work with higher voltage if you properly tune the controller work with the motor

Had to pause. NO tllt back...what. Its a fail already aint it. Where are the worlds coders? My old z10 tilts me back often. Zoom zooom b zoom zoom. Was that a beep. Rhere sure seems a coder shortage every where i look. Millions in 3d print comunity not a exact text sesrch that works in 54 sites i vetted. Coders? Hello? Anybody?
