We went through and decluttered Alex's side of the closet and he got rid of SO dang much! I mean.. He doesn't wear any of it! haha So now you know it's time to go thrifting for his new wardrobe. haha Eventually! I hope this gives you some motivation to declutter / purge your closet or even just get rid of the stuff you don't wear!

I kept one shirt of my dads that was special but my mom kept a ton of his clothes for 5 years after he passed and we just donated them. I keep things of my dad that have important memories associated and very few are clothing related.

Yes! Alex keep your shirts for kids! My son has passed and my GRANDSON lives his dad's t-shirts! He wore daddy's shirts when he was alive too! Made him so proud! Now we are making a memory quilt with the shirts.

My husband SAVES EVERYTHING! We just did this de-clutter in the garage a couple months ago and for the last 3 months I've heard; "See! I told I you I should've kept that box, paper, foam, broken rake ect.............🙄 just wait for it Kim...lol

We just sold my husband’s childhood home. So many memories. We would be on a roll, making progress, and then stumble onto some old photos or war memorabilia from WWII that his dad brought home. We didn’t find chocolate though! Good work. Praying you through! ❤️❤️

@@robbinmaskell1730 I once donated some jkts and winter wear of my husband's. Went through it together. He wanted to keep a dated, red buffalo check vest he NEVER wore and doesn't fit. I snuck and threw it into the donate pile I was bringing to a warming station by my house. I live near a park and two days later a guy wearing "the vest" walks by while we were raking leaves. I almost had a heart attack! My husband says "I have a vest just like that." I mumbled with my back to him, "not anymore...." lol
