Thanks for the video. I always use a very simple 5 minute rule that makes it easy to keep the house tidy. If I can’t pick up a room in less than 5 minutes then I know there is too much stuff in that room for me to handle. Then I declutter down to a manageable amount for me. This tip has served me well for many years. I would seriously think about cutting down on the toys though. Best wishes!

WD40 really works to get sticker goop off. You can also heat up the sticker first with a hairdryer and they will pull off cleanly.

You could add a hook inside the closet (a command hook) for the bags. That way they don’t take up all that space. Add them to the hook w the largest in back and smallest in front. Also maybe put the games all on one shelf so it opens up a lot of another shelf. We keep our games up high so kids can’t reach them😂 to tempting for them at my house😂

I have to agree w a couple comments about teaching the kids/husband to pick up after themselves. I didn’t follow thru well at all w my boys and I REALLY wish I had. Instill the habits u want them to have as adults. Trust me😂

For your question about how to remove stickers, just put them under warm water and spray them with a little bit of dawn (power wash) and then wash them off with a scrubber and they will be completely clean if you are having a hard time with the sticky glue then cut a lemon 🍋 and use that.

You could use vertical file Folders for the gift bags. 🎁 👜

W your bags you could also get a pot lid holder or even an old CD holder (or something like that) that way they can be organized vertically and it take up that much space. Or just stack them on top of each other vertically. You’ll still be able to see what you have if you do them by size. Biggest on bottom, smallest on top

As for the bins in the kids room I’d choose a hard side bin so this same situation doesn’t repeat itself with the bent up sides. It’ll save money in the long run and u can still label them. And clean them easier.

Choose a bag that the biggest bags you need to keep fits in it and just organise like sizes together in this one bag,easiest way i keepthem tidy and together 👍🫶Lizzie x

I would do as much of the work as I can myself and maybe lower the price some , it has ALOT of benefits as far as the value of your home if you decided to sell and the best reason of all its what you have been wanting for a long time and would be so beautiful and bright so GO FOR IT !!!!!!!!

W the Xmas bags you’ll be able to see what you have if you put them in in a staggered order when putting them inside the bag. (Larger to smaller) it’ll just look like one bag but when you need one u just go look inside. It works very well for me and I like to know what I have as well.

With the stickers on tubs or containers ,just use a hair dryer to heat them up to melt the glue & peel off, hope this helps in the future.😊

LOL I tried the whole duvet thing an hour and a half sweating and I could not get that thing together and straight so the blanket went in a bag in the closet and the cover is now called a couch cover so yeah that's not worth all that for me !!!!!

Your children and your husband can also tidy things,Aleah. More they grow,it will be more difficult for them to take care at least of their own stuff.Talkless to help you in household.Why for hell?We have a mama,our personal servant.She will do it for us. Wait and see,when they will be tennagers. I live in a country,where we are taught from childhood to help.And it doest bring any harm. I dont know why in western countries in such a problem.

You're not doing your children or yourself any favours, it's a part of life. I made it a routine from an early age, that we put things away together before bath time. Then on their own as they get to about 5 or 6. Soon you would find they won't make as much mess because they have to put their things away. They can't grow up expecting other people to be their staff.

I absolutely disagree that children should clean up. It’s the mother’s job to. Keep house & the childrens’ job to be a child. If you lead by example they usually want to help anyway, but it should not be expected.

Oh wow. I paid $6900 for my whole house to be painted including the baseboards. 4beds 2.5 baths. 2400sq ft. But I’m in TN so maybe it’s much cheaper here.

$6000? No way girl! Maybe once the kids are older! Can your husband paint it? Maybe get a friend or family member to help that has some experience. That ALOTTA $ With small kids in the house where it’ll likely be roughed up very quickly and very often😂 you could use that $for a vacation! And I take photos of some of their school work etc then toss most of it. I save some every now and then if it’s special somehow but other than that… toss it😂

It's always messy because no one puts anything away. That's why it's so much hard work to tackle. It would depress me. You keep saying in your videos, you don't understand why things get so messy. lol Under the cushions should be hoovered weekly, not bi monthly.

I hope you don’t mind me answering this, but I’ve heard other KZfaqrs admit that they allow clutter to build up and/or stop other family members from cleaning because they need the content to film. I’m pretty sure that is the case here as well. Don’t be upset with her hubby. Creating this kind of content is her job and source of income. I think it’s brilliant and I do enjoy the these videos on my cleaning days. Less distracting than having a movie or tv show on. 😊
