It's so sweet that you and Mike get to work together towards fitness! As someone who was raised on "yellow food" aka everything is fried, pasta, bread or corn, I totally get being picky about food! I had to work really hard at introducing healthy food into my diet and learning to drink more water. It gets easier!

Love the channel. Maybe do a window seat with built-in storage so you can hide your workout equipment and extra pillows or blankets. It would also look nice and intentional in the space.

High point to the week was that the weather in southern Oklahoma was beautiful last week. Low point is that the weather has turned cold & rainy this weekend. My kids are 30 and 28 and I remember those days of cleaning like a mad woman before their birthday party. As they got older, I quit cleaning as hard before the party because after the parties when you really have to clean up. I got just enough done so my house would look presentable but afterwards, I would tear my house apart, especially their bedrooms, kitchen, dining room to get it back in working order. 11:13

You know when you said Mike was the more layer back one, well when my husband was alive and I would get worried or upset about something he would always say to me "honey things will be fine" and to this day when I get like that I can hear him saying this to me. Right before you brought up Avery and what she thinks of it - to answer the question of some of your viewers - I had been thinking about how it could feel strange if the people in your life know you have a channel, wondering how I would handle the two worlds intermingling. Jamie I agree. Our hair brushes need cleaned more often than anything. I work in a salon/spa and I see my coworkers clean their brushes after each client with a rat tail comb. I love your idea with a pen, I use my wide tooth comb and then spray with rubbing alcohol, let dry. Ill use your pen idea! Thank you for videos❤️

Yes I love to keep my hair brushes clean too! I find they get a lot of dust buildup at the base of the bristles so I scrub them dry first, then soak them in shampoo and warm water for a bit (not the wooden one though!) and then I scrub and rinse 😌

My grandmother passed away 3 years ago and I still miss her I couldn't believe my ears when they telled me she passed away I was crying and still I cry. Hey Jamie, my sisters and I were raised by our grandmother and every Saturday she would have us gather our hairbrushes. We would use a comb to get the hair out then they would soak in water and vinegar in the bathroom sink. Later they would just get air dried. Still do it like that to this day.

Hi Jamie, actually 45 plus years ago my mom would throw brushes and combs into her Top Job water, top job was a cleaner similar to spic and span, lol, I’m showing my age, and at the end of her cleaning they were spotless. 😊 they actually make a hair brush cleaner tool, I got one from fuller brush several years ago, also Amazon has one.

Hi Jamie! I remember, as a little girl, my mom would put the combs and brush in an old, metal ice cube tray and add ammonia and water and let them soak for who-knows-how-long. Sure smelled the house up though. You have a lovely home Jamie. You are very blessed, in more ways than one. ❤️❤️

Hi Jamie. I’m in northeast ndiana and could be your mom! Lol! But I have watched you for a while and decided yo finally comment. When you wash your hairbrushes, you get a quart or whatever size sudsing ammonia is sold in. At a dollar store it makes great suds and use a comb to remove the hairs left in the brushes. Let the brushes soak for a while n hot sudsy water for a half hr or more rinse well and let air dry. I can remember my mom doing this my dear grandma., and I still do this too. Yes, there is an odor but this gives them a thorough clean. But your way works too. Never thought of using an ink pen for removing the hairs. Innovative. Or what you call a hack. I have identical twin daughters, all grown up now. I had pre eclampsia and delivered nine weeks early then. It was rough going for several months. My girls have always been very close and I bet yours will too forever. Even tho the oldest girl, by 14 minutes now resides with her hubs in Fla. But it keeps them, all of us will in close touch. Take care. You are one of the best you tubers too, esp when cleaning as you always do what I call deep clean. I don’t think a lot know today, to do deep cleaning. Don’t over do. Remember to take care of you!!! And I know you do a great job of taking care of your precious girls for sure!!!

That's a good idea on cleaning your hair brushes. I was able to clean off my white adidas with oxiclean and a toothbrushes. They look brand new. You were the one that introduced me to oxiclean and how great it is.

I think it is really important to protect our kids from social media and the internet in general. I have a job where unfortunately, I see all the evil that exists in the world when it comes to children, especially on the internet. There is so much out there that most people have no idea about. It is scary how easy it is for predators to reach our children. I am so glad you are cautious about not glorifying your KZfaq channel and that you are cognizant of your kids' privacy and safety...good job mama! I LOVE your channel, I have learned so many great cleaning tips from you. You are such a genuine and warm person and I enjoy watching you and your family grow and thrive. That being said, this is your actual life, and you have every right to keep it private and keep your family safe.

OMG I think I have more grungy clothes than I need but they are absolutely my go-to clothes when I won’t be going out!! Real life 😂. I cover my box spring with a fitted sheet too. That way I don’t care if the comforter/quilt is a bit short. Happy birthday to all the girls 🎈 🎉
