Hello, I want to ask, is the SAITO FG60 engine sufficient for classic acrobatics? Does the engine have enough power in the plane? I'm thinking about Yak 55 from pilot rc. Do you think that the SAITO FG60 engine would be suitable? Thank you for your reply

Yes Id say so. A good prop is a 23x6 my Yak will hover and climb very slow but if you like more power you might want to try the 90cc it might fit in the cowl the 60has room to spare

@@Ride-Fly thanks for your reply. I will probably choose the SAITO FG-61TS engine, it has more power than the SAITO FG-60R3. SAITO FG-90R3 is already very heavy. I think there would be a problem with the center of gravity.

Awesome! do you think this engine has enougth power for a 3D fligth? how does plane behaves with it? tks

Not really enough for 3D flying. It will hover but you cant really pull up and out of it. Over all the plane flys really nice with this motor. I was worried it would not have enough power but its more than enough to fly the plane. I have an extra 70cc as well for 3D this is more of a cruzer lol

More weight of coarse but the plane lands slow so im sure the 90 would be good fit.

And if you had the choice without paying for that which one would you take, the 60cc or the 90cc ?

Hard to really say since i havent owned the 90cc but i suppose id go with the 90 if its free

The engine is not setup correctly as it took as very long time to start I'm not trying to be nasty or negative just thought I'd share some thoughts. Good video and flight Safe landings

Hello yes it was a new motor for me I needed to prime it. Set throttle to 1/2 plug the pressure release line on the crank case and turn propeller until gas comes out of carburetor. Now it starts in 1-3 flips of propeller.

Firma55874: I have a brand new Saito FG-60R3 that I am going to put in the Extreme Flight 91" Yak 54 I notice you don't have any baffling and that the cowel is large enough to for it not to did it ever run hot on you and can you give me some advice about the plane and engine?

Hi Donald its never run hot on me, the cowl does have an opening on the bottom. If you want scale type flying the fg60 is a good choice it will hover for a few seconds then slowly falls backward. If you want more power the 90 would be great im just not sure it would fit without out have to cut holes in the cowl. The fg 60 fits with some room to spare.

Firma55874: Thanks for such a rapid reply, I will be using my "Extreme Flight Yak 54 91" with my Saito FG-60R3 just for sport flying and not 3D can you tell me if the engine is really a good one or not and what advice can you give me about the plane and the engine you can e-mail if you wish or call.
