Not sure why a lot of people don't like the cut and color. The shaved side looks unexpected and gorgeous on her! I didn't find the hair color to look patchy either; the different shades gave it a cool, multi-faceted look.

REALLY CUTE MODEL AND RESULT. When I had my hair tinted at a salon 'rose gold' it came out very similarly, very vivid at the roots and paler/blonde-ish sections. I felt the color wasn't worked through the hair section well enough and since it took a while to do my whole head, wasn't left to develop for 20 minutes on the sections painted last. I'm not educated in this field but I've bleached, toned and dyed my hair with a variety of vegetable based dyes (Manic Panic type - not Pravana ones) so it seems to me this may have been what went on here. Don't get me wrong the cut and color are very pretty, I'm just glad ombre color is more popular now because back in the day (mid 90's) ones hair needed to come out more evenly toned or it'd look like it wasn't colored correctly. I'm not feeling the lipstick color tone with the hair either. I think a cool red but less berry-purple? or more purple? might've coordinated more?
