In this video, we went to the streets of Ajegunle, Lagos, Nigeria to ask about living situations in search of families we can transform and change their lives. We renovated the home of Mrs Glory Kingsley Okoro and we also added appliances and furniture courtesy of Fouani Nigeria and LG! I think the sweetest thing I heard in this video was "my boy." It wasn't a shallow statement by Mrs. Okoro. To me, there's a million meanings in that, and they generally would be prayers and gratitude. What's most impressive about this great thing you have done, man, is that you participated in the works; tiling, carpentry, painting, and all that. You've got the heart of a humble great man. If I'm guessing correctly this looks like a rented apartment. I really do hope some sort of agreement was reached between @fisayo and the owner of the house cos it would be unfair to make all these changes to the house only to have the landlord increase the rent or ask them to leave. This is really beautiful by the way. My eyes kept leaking for some weird reasons. Thank you for this Fisayo. You're a great man

This is so beautiful and very thoughtful.. I've never seen a Nigerian make-over only American makeover..I must say this is a good watch..I was moved to tears at the sight of the transition 🥺Look at Mrs Okoro and her children brimming with joy..Her expression is so priceless.. the first thing that came to my mind while watching this was the landlord. some inhumane landlords might give them a notice to quit the apartment after this renovation, so they can rent out the house at a way higher price. Anyways, God bless you immensly Mr. Fisayo

I wish someone like this came to my mom's rescue after my Dad's passing in 2013. I was in primary four then. It's not been a simple battle since then but momma pulled it off and we all went to school. Most times when I see grey hairs on her hair, I go somewhere hidden and cry cos I wish I can keep her till eternity to enjoy the fruit of her labor. I don't have much now but God and her strength made me the woman I am and I'll spend the rest of my life paying her back and helping other women like her. When you watch this story, this is exactly how my story was, and even worse than this. Two years ago, were were still living at somewhere very deplorable. I took pictures so I can tell my story someday. She starved so I and my four siblings could get an education. I got a job after service and moved her to somewhere better so she can breath. The journey continues but I know one day, I'll build her a house. I don't know why I'm typing this but if you can relate, don't give up. Let your eyes be on the prize. I'm happy for this woman and hope to do this for others in the future 😘😘😘😘😘

How I wish the Corporate Companies in Nigeria could do more of projects that touch lives and generations than sponsoring projects like Big Brothers where they only encourage promiscuity and one person without any aim of bettering the lives of people around them. Even though I don't know or related to this family, I want to say a big thank you on their behalf from the deepest part of my heart.
