I wish you had kept the blackout fabric.. it would save fading plus its a thermal insulator keeping the room cooler ❤ plus that extra thickness would add a luxe feeling but they look smashing love from 🇬🇧

I'm an old lady (62) by comparison to your core audience, and I struggle with "influencers" who have little expertise and too much ego. Your content is so fresh, and warm, and genuine. As you explain the placement of each piece you demonstrate real expertise in design principles, yet they feel organic and personal. It really is extraordinary. When my cohort and I are talking about how the world has changed and everybody young wants to "influence " before they actually learn anything, I always mention you as the exception. You are so young. And so talented....gifted....and inspiring. ❤

What I like the most about your designs is how cozy they are. They always look like a huge family lives there. And also how these designs just transmit life! It’s as if each family member were discovering little bits and pieces of decor through their exploring of the world and adding their own touch to the space. I kept thinking about all the AD tour videos I have seen over the years. I struggle to think of more than a small few that compare to this. This is so creatively satisfying. The room is infused with warmth, character, layers of interest that all work cohesively as a design without feeling “produced”. It is such a joy to see originality instead of “and here’s the requisite, on trendy, very expensive _______ “ You’ve picked items because they fit with the aesthetic you want but also because they speak to YOU the person actually living in the space. And you have honoured the house which is also so refreshing after what feels like decades of “let’s gut the house and replace it with trends”. You’re a very talented designer, Drew. And I love the rosette details even more now that it’s finished 😊❤

I’m not sure why but at the very end of this amazing video when you’re just quietly showing us before and after very thorough look, I was so moved. My eyes watered up a little bit. I don’t do that. It’s just so moving it’s vintage it’s art deco it’s a little medieval and so incredibly moving. It’s masculine and dramatic at the same time. Yeah it’s also cozy and lived in, I love every nook and cranny and every detail that you added to it. I mean wow Drew there is nothing ordinary about this room or any part of it. I am really so move that I am emotional. It’s dramatic it’s warm. It’s cozy. it’s safe. I am feeling so many different things and I’m in love with this room. OK I’m in love with the house and your taste and styles. I love these old one-of-a-kind pieces that you find and I will say the name of that shop wrong but the one where you did the drop. I love your living room. What a difference from the “ starting point”. The colors are warm and inviting, the French doors and bookcase are “ beyond” beautiful. I really can’t get over how much work you put into this room and how every piece is intentionally placed. Drew, no one else I’ve seen has the ability to style like you…even using unique pieces. I'm sitting in my home on a rainy Sunday in Maine, not feeling well. So up comes this video on KZfaq and of course I watch it right away. And, well what can I say; your living room makeover lifted my spirits and blew me away! I love it! I was thinking, how can I describe your style? You are so unique. I see your style as gentle masculinity because it is so strong and rugged yet has such a warm welcoming feeling. So yeah, that's what I'm going with, Gentle Masculinity. No matter what one calls your style it's gorgeous. Thanks for brightening my day.

So this morning, I woke at 4 filled with anxiety! Not a good start to the day! Instead of taking a pill(which I don't have anyway) I decided to watch this video after pouring a glass of wine. Not the greatest idea but Hey, needs must😅. I have said before that I am not a brown person, but your transformation of the living room, and the rest of the house, is pure, blissfull gorgeousness!!!🤩🤩🤩 SO HAPPY to see you are not a 'less is more' kind of person. Your joy and excitement is palpable in your videos. Also you. Ake me laugh. 😂😂😂😂My mood is now, much elevated and I am going to tackle the disaster that is my bedroom. Drew, love your pinch pleat curtain hack. It's nice to see that the pinch pleats are coming back. They add so much to the windows and make the drapes hang so beautifully. The pleater tape and pleater hooks are the easiest way to obtain this look. Love how the living room turned out...it's perfect for you! PS Pottery barn has a faux red oak tree on sale right now...

Drew - I have to say this is my favorite room so far. The way all the pieces flow together and the absolute warmth of the space is incredible. I would have coffee in there in the morning, perhaps do some reading in the afternoon and have a cocktail in the evening. Congratulations on a job well done!!!

That feels like an authentic and honestly very creative approach to go about this. You haven't stripped the character & soul from this home but enhanced it and made it shine a little more. This turned out beautiful. By not loading up the bookcases, it makes the room seem light and airy among the dark furniture. Great blend of an old world and a new world look.

Wow, Drew! You have really knocked it out of the ballpark! This is elegant but warm, comfortable, and inviting. I love the maple inside and would have a hard time moving it outdoors. Hi, I'm new to your channel. Absolutely love the old-world look of your living room. I lived in Italy 50 plus years ago and see the cha in this room. You have a good eye for the antiques and reproductions to make it look authentic. I appreciate the currated art and bookshelves with picture lights.
