Metra trains are a vital link between the city and the sprawling suburbs around the greater Chicago area. With majority of their trains using classic EMD power, and vintage gallery cars, it's no wonder why Metra is one of my favorite railroads to railfan, any chance I get!
Featured are 9 different lines of the Metra system, including the unique Metra Electric District line around Downtown Chicago. All locations listed in the video.

Best Chicago Metra KZfaq video ever keep up the great work and this is Isaiah wiley from myrtle Beach south Carolina saying hello and I miss watching trains but KZfaq will always be there for me 😊 also if you have a phone download train and railyard simulator it is a great train game.
