Jeeps are amazing vehicles. I’ve owned one, a CJ7 many moons ago. I mostly did beaches with it. Never mountains. My mud riding days were done in a Chevy Blazer. Jeeps always ran circles around me. I have a 4Runner I’m fixing up now to travel in. I think I’ll be picked on a bit because I’m going to stick to pavement and the easiest off roading. But I’ll be watching y’all tackle the Badge of Honor stuff.

nice video man, i enjoy your (sort of) new into it, guy's perspective.... I have a firecracker red 2020 Launch Edition Gladiator Rubicon set up for overlanding, (Bed rack, metal roll back tonneau cover , 4K W/hr. power station, iKamper RTT ,Fridge, etc.) , on 37;s with Mopar 2" lift.... If you go with the Mopar lift (dealer installed ) it will keep your warranty intact and you can go up to 35"s (even 37"s) no problem ... dealer can recalibrate for tire size change too, to correct speedometer, and transmission shift points... A lift doesn't get you more ground clearance per se(like under the diffs), but a lift gets you room for bigger tires to fit under the fenders (with out rubbing under full articulation)....and bigger diameter tires will give you more ground clearance under the diffs......

Nice to see that SMORR has a Campground. We travel and trailer camp with our 22 JT Max Tow and a Cruiser Hitch 17BHS.

They have any camping option that you need. The pricing structure can be a little bit confusing, but I was focused on making a decent video. Occasionally, I’ll miss a detail or two while thinking about how something looks versus what someone is saying.

what is Jeremy's set up? lift size/kind, tire size and make/type? that will give us an indication on what additional lift, tire size/type we might need for that challenge. Good detail, love that your little one is sooo into it :)

When I have my gladiator in 4low, I switch it from 1st gear or 2nd gear depending on the terrain. I have a manual transmission as well.

That makes sense. This one holds first gear unless I button shift it. I’m not a fan of high revs if they’re not needed, but it is probably a way to protect the transmission when I’m spinning out.

@@OffGridAdventure I don't high rev my jeep either. When I have the transmission in 2nd gear, I still drive it the same as I would if it was in 1st gear.

Great video. Do you think all 3 badges be completed in 1 day if you get an early start?

Absolutely doable. We started the trails around 1pm and completed all three by 5pm including camera work. However, I wish I had the extra time to attempt the trails from the opposite direction. There are also several miles of other trails to explore out there.
