Michael Ironside is soooooooooo underrated. I love how the look on his face changes when he says “ten million dollars.”

Clancy Brown vs. Michael Ironsides vs. Nick Nolte?! Did I just cross over to a parallel universe of awesome?!

It's like a 1980's version of the Pike and the Wild Bunch's last stand. Fast paced, gritty, and just as brutal as the Wild Bunch. This is definitely a hidden gem of bloody 80's action films and the ensemble cast of Nick Nolte, Powers Boothe, Michael Ironside and Clancy Brown make it all the more better.

Oh my God, this clip is a "who's who" of 80's character actors! William Forsythe? Michael Ironside? Clancey Brown? Powers Boothe? I think I just hit "badass 80's bad guys" BINGO!

Great movie, the final shoot out was homage to the Wild Bunch

This is possibly the most 80’s film of all time

"Six soldiers, officially heroes, officially dead. A private army on the wrong side of the law. An American drug dealer with a Mexican army. Against a stone-aged cowboy with a tin badge armed with a rifle and a pistol."

While not so well known of an actor during this time, this movie made me realize how versatile Larry B. Scott was. He managed to go from playing the gay member of Lambda Lambda Lambda Fraternity in Revenge of the Nerds to another nerd role in Space Camp to one year later portraying another tech guru role but this time as a kick ass member of a special black ops unit in the US Army.

Very reminiscent of the final shootout in The Wild Bunch.

It’s like the Wild Bunch and the Dirty Dozen

This film had a major impact on my cinematic tastes. I remember the enfluence was so "extreme " I was reenacting the final showdown with my G. I Joe toys. My friends. Both brothers. Even a little plagiarism in a short story assignment in 4th grade. The fact Mrs. Plambeck noticed the similarities between my one page masterpiece and this film's script is beyond me. I like to believe old Mrs. Plambeck thought of this film as I did. One kick ass flick. Still gave me a satisfactory. Miss you Powers Boothe. And of course I will always miss my plagiarism sniffing dramatic action loving 4th grade enigma Mrs. Plambeck. HOW IN THE FUCK DID SHE CATCH THAT?

the ending is just like "The Wild Bunch". Watch that if you've not seen it before. You won't regret it.

What makes "Extreme Prejudice" a hard hitting action movie, is the way how it's written, produced and directed - Mr Walter Hill's imagination is at it's most powerful here!.

Clancy Brown is fantastic as the mercenary Larry McRose. Confident. Capable. Deadly. I love when he goes through the broken glass doors while getting his shotgun ready.

I remember my dad's buddy complaining that it was "gross", body parts flying everywhere, etc. I was fifteen, so now I *had* to see it! Recorded it off The Movie Network and watched it probably once a week for a year! Almost had it memorized! Watching it today, it's still awesome. and even moreso when you figure that there's no CGI; everything's a practical effect and it looks GREAT.

The shootout was supposed to be longer. There was more footage, but the studios forced Hill to edit it down to a shorter length.

Man when I saw Koker 3:47 walking badly wounded back in 87. I got depressed I was rooting for him to make it.
