We woke up to EXTREME RAIN and a FLOOD!
Yes, when it isn't summertime here in the Philippines sometimes you can get hit with quick rainstorms, that may leave certain areas flooded for a short time. As we were hanging out by the boulevard about to leave... that is exactly what happened! So much rain, and the boulevard flooded into a swimming pool!
In this video you will see more Dipolog city beauty, some of the local snacks by the boulevard, and then a sudden flood filled morning with an inspiring Filipino and some sikwate!
Extreme rain and a flood was perfect mango and hot chocolate weather! Oh, and look at the inspiring lady still collecting garbage even in this weather!

I saw your story about the cleaning lady. Thank you for appreciating the hard work done by Filipinos. Sad to say, you cannot please everybody. One of the photos of the cleaning lady, they make fun of it.

No matter what kind of weather on the day resilient is there. Thank you manang n I hope the Dipolog mayor will do more to help you. When it is heavy rai n filipino children in the provinces would liked to spend time outside the house....playing n at the same time taking a bath.

Hello from Vancouver, the ppl who sacrifices their lives just to keep the city clean should be recognized, respected, n honored with a higher salary, in such a way to benefit their the daily family needs. The truth without them the city would not be clean n beautiful.

Dipolog is actually a very laid back city. Wherein you can just chill all day, get snacks, have an alone time by the boulevard. Also, riding your bike in the rain is fun.

Kyle, once again, another great video. Every time I speak to a fellow American here in Arizona about the Philippines, I just tell them to watch your channel. Come this January, I'll be started my own adventure there in Leyte and then Mindanao. I'm selling all my things here in the US and making a permanent move there. Hope to see you soon.

I was in Dipolog last January 2020 and I have purchase a ticket to go back on early June. Cross fingers that airports will be reopen. I live in Manila before. Dipolog is another thing. Natural, simple and beautiful.

...... _ay brad maayung buntag_ .......beautiful Dipolog Cathedral altar with an awesome historical background.......Dr. Jose Rizal is indeed a master craftsman & architect........luv it......i wish the DIpolog breakwater will not end up like the Manila Bay.........my elders would say, Roxas Blvd. then (fmr. There is also called 'Carabao Mango' (in Northern & Central Luzon) which is too sour when not ripen (green color) and too sweet when already ripen (yellow color)....Ayos!....

They should place some storm drains on the seaside boulevards. The flooding seems to be due to the raised barrier.

As always, I love your adventures Kulas! When I’m in the Philippines I always stop by different churches. They have the best churches in the world in the Philippines. Such amazing architecture and so peaceful. It’s also cool that you talk about Jose Rizal. I was aware of his writings but I never knew he designed things as well. If you haven’t seen the Jose Rizal movie starring Cesar Montano you really should! That’s one of my all time favorite films. By the way, the scenery in this video along the highway is amazing! Wow! Keep it coming! 🤩
