sadly they are not cheaper as when you go to a salon as a woman you are often charged up to $80 for such a haircut or any haircut for that matter. I'm in the process of learning to cut my own hair after giving up on the "pink tax."

I just cut my hair like this! My son tells me, "Mama, you look like a boy." I asked my husband, "Do I look like GI Jane?" Rain Dove did a TED Talk about androgyn and cisgender and not living by societal norms, but making your own way, by utilizing your masculinity and femininity , to not just be one or the other, but both. My hair feels nice. It's fresh.

I am 65 and getting a buzz today,i have had bald hair 10yrs ago due to chemo ,so loved it when it grew into a nice short easy to manage style ,,exciting my son who is in lockdown with us is doing it,my hair is also silver.

Nice! I got a buzzcut in march, because I wanted to do this for so long and during the lockdown I wasn't afraid of being judged. That's maybe not the best reason I did it then, but I loved it! I've been having short hair for a few years now and I love it so much! In about 2 months, the hair on top will have the lenght I like the most again. Right now, my hair looks a bit alike to the girls hair in this video, but I cant cut it in the back by myself professionally... Can't wait to see my hairdresser again soon tough...😄

Brenda, more and more women are buzzing their heads. They always could have done this. No one would arrest anyone over a haircut. It's just that many of us guys find them unattractive. If that fact is OK with you, go for it. Pixies, I always thought that they were a cute alternative to long hair for many women. A couple friends of mine just got them. They look wonderful, frankly. But I am and will always be a sucker for long, long hair on women, and I always hope that they will keep it long for life, if it remains in good condition.

I'm 50 and I did it back in June. Everyone loved it. Growing out for winter will do again next spring

Having your hair fall out at 50 for no reason is harder. There is no reason when people ask you what happened to your hair.

It's your hair. Do what you want to do. Remember hair does grow back. Summer is here so it's the perfect time.
