Never quite get why you would spend three grand on a custom tire just to fuck it up by burning three layers of rubber off it for the purpose of a burnout

Yeah. Totally agree. Only ever did one burn out when I was riding (FZR600), and that was when I was taking it in for a fresh tyre anyway. I can imagine those oversized things are a pretty penny too. Jealous?! Me. Don't be silly......

In my opinion, 300+ rear tire is way too big. They worsen the ride and I think that most of the time they look downright goofy on the VMX. 240 is the biggest I would go.

The burnouts are only fun till you end up at the tire shop & have to plunk down a boatload of cash to replace one. Must be great on the highway going straight but hell when your on twisty roads . I've not ridden of of these beasts but as far as looks go they are badass. I do agree those wide back tires can be way to much ride wise.

@@paullevine1813 The wideboy conversations look idiotic imo and they will not handle well. Some lovely designs though. Thought one of them looked fantastic until the cam panned around and showed the rear wheel and i burst out laughing. Made a great looking bike suddenly look stupid. I thought rear wheels that big looked cool, when i was 15 or so. Since then i have always laughed at them.

Many year Vmax owner here, for many years and always on boost it's an addictive adrenaline rush that you can't ever get over. I finally traded my Max in on a dr650se w Happy Trails panners. 😢.Long live the VOA.

Wow, the V-max is a beautiful bike in stock form. These are some of the fugliest custom bikes I have seen in a long time and will help you appreciate Yamaha design engineers for their good taste in factory stock bikes !!!

Ruined a bunch of perfectly good bikes with all those ridiculous mods. A V-Max is damn near perfect when it rolls out the factory.. Some folks have to go overboard i guess.

Consider me WOKE. I’m also going on 70 and remember these these back in the day. I had a Kaw 500 3 cylinder 2 stroke with a bunch of mods. It was a peppy little sport about. These bikes are BEAUTIFUL. That last one is a real STINKER though 👎🏻

Ha! I had a Kawasaki 400 Triple two stroke! That bike was so much fun. When someone would tailgate me I would just hit the thumb choke and thick white smoke would pour out of those exhausts!

The bike at 50sec is done really well, King Ralph is sick, that Jeff Gordon bike is badass I love the dual side mount pipes! The Russian vmax bike is one of the ugliest dam bikes I've ever seen! That "1989" build is awesome I like how its almost setup like a naked bike.

I have 88 vmax, some modifications but nothing that changes look like these, most of these modifications are just bought off a shelf from Taylormade & bolted on, can really you call these custom modifications when it is off a shelf ??.......& 360 tyre is stupid !
