This theory thinking that its a bit flip is not possible on the Xbox360 or Playstation3 due to it having a complex instruction set with error correction. Now its possible that some unrelated value in memory is causing this could be something as simple as how many NPC are present or something but i guarantee you its not some random cosmic ray lol.

I believe that the speed glitch bounce works the same way as all the other bounce glitches, you just have to time it so precisely that the board, once it becomes active, is clipping far enough into the ground that the game decides to bounce you

i know im a year and a half late but that theory about a cosmic ray causing the TTC bitflip is just that: a theory. nobody knows why it happened to this day, and every expert that has investigated it has called it highly unlikely. a more likely solution is a floating point error, but bit flip glitches in tons of games have seldom been organically replicated, let alone solved.

The footplant off the wall bounce is mainly based on the set up you have. If you spend time setting your marker in different spots and experimenting, you can get it somewhat consistent.

So idk if forwards man bounce works like this, but i do know the backwards man bounce is caused by the button inputs all happening on specific frames, frame-perfectly. That's how all backwards-man variations work (some include which idle-animation frame you jump on, maybe true for bounce?, the bounce is just a particularly weird one. I have the rhythms for a few of the interesting ones mapped into a drum machine, eg the particularly fast/slow ones & the respawn-instantly one (regardless of posture) - which i can do repeatedly on command... buuut i haven't found the rhythm for the backwards man bounce glitch yet 😅 maybs eventually? 🤷‍♂️ And btw Sy, big fan of the style/format/content of your recent vids. I saw you mentioned AsumSaus as inspiration with his Melee content and i reckon you're nailing that style, while still 100% your own thing. Keep up the great work!

Even though I personally don't do these kinds of glitches when I play, it's fun watching these videos because they teach me more about how the game functions. Since as far as I know there's no behind the scenes stuff for the skate games, people breaking the game and explaining why it happens is the closest thing I have.

I think the speed glitch bounce is based off of the slant of a certain part of the map, or it could be the map itself, like how you can glitch under the map in certain spots but not others.

I believe the speed glitch bounce is dealing with the ground itself, if you were to attempt it more on the same ground you performed it on you'll most likely get a higher chance of getting a bounce from it. Maybe there are some parts of the ground that has some sort of weird disforming that allows it. JUST A THEORY THough
