WWI military wire cutters restoration. I found these wire cutters in the woods on a WW1 battlefield. Wire cutters were manufactured in 1916. These are wire cutters of the Russian Imperial Army. They lay underground for more than 105 years. The wire cutters were very rusty and I decided to restore them. I removed the rust and preserved the metal. I hope you liked my restoration.

Wow!!! Another incredible restoration…. I feel also the quality of that tool is no longer available in our throw away world of today. Your restoration skills and patience were again on display while working on the wire cutters. When you tested the cutters you almost had a melody happening!!! Well done sir!!

The metal was well preserved, although it was very rusty. But the quality of these wire cutters is good.

Hey, did you not notice how the ground is wet clay and how the cutter that he took out of the wet clay ground had dry clay on it? Just say hallelujah.
