The creative felt work you can make using the ridgeway technique are endless!
♥ Hi, my name is Lori and my goal is to teach, inspire and live off the land in style by knitting my own clothes, creating essential survival items and living luxuriously warm, dyeing fibre using bright acid colours and occasionally plants, fungi, muck and mud.
When I began wet felting 10 years ago, there were only a few basic tutorials. On this channel, I want to share everything I know so so that you can easily begin upgrading your craft by creating remarkable fibre art more quickly. From illustrative conceptual ideas into beautiful creative work that is ready to repeat quickly using minimal tools and resources.

Oh my, I’m loving the results you achieved from this experiment 💜 Idk, but I think it’s particularly striking against the white. I wonder if you have continued experimenting with different background colors? KZfaq recommended your channel, and I’m grateful for the inspiration you’ve given me to continue wet felting after viewing several of your well made tutorials. 😊 Until recently, I’ve mostly concentrated on needle felting. But seriously relate to having idea’s that have to be tried…like itches that need to be scratched, haha. Many thanks ;)🐑 You have a new subscriber in sunny Southern California 🌞💜🌻

Thank you so much for your lovely comments and subscribing! So glad you are enjoying the videos. I find the technique works well with highly contrasting colours. I also really like the white but think other colours could look really cool. So much to experiment with. I hope to do a few needle felting videos eventually. I began my wool journey with needle felting. So much to create using both techniques. More videos and inspiration coming soon :)

@@muffsmerino My pleasure ;) I began w/teaching myself to knit (already crocheted from grade school forward), which lead to drop spindle, then spinning wheel and dyeing all sorts of fibers and then came needle felting of course hahaha. I’m trying to develop techniques for wet felting that are easier on my body, for I refuse to let the pain define me ☺️ Looking forward to creating your lovely slippers and watching your upcoming videos for all manners of felting. Ty for the creative inspiration ;)

Kia Ora! 🤗 Just watched all your videos and would like to thank you for your very in-depth content! I am a lover of fibre arts (spinning, knitting and crochet) of about 4y, using wool from my own sheep. (I’m in Auckland).

Definitely cover both sides with wool and then felt the entire project. Already felted wool won’t felt easily to non-felted wool :)
