God gave her that voice to sing gospel, it’s evident that she completely transforms when she sings to God.

She had the heart of a champion.

Watching Whitney in her later years makes me feel so much closer to her. EVERY TIME she sang I love the Lord, I’m never without a dry eye. Thank you God for Whitney Houston 💜

Alot of the passion she expressed in song was "naturally" displayed whenever she sang gospel. There was always a very moving quality in her voice while giving honor to Whom honor was due. GodBless her.

i believe at the end WHITNEY was tired of what she was doing!!!! she was tired of the world in her Business. all she wanted to do was sing background. but she made it bigger than she ever dreamed! i looked at alot of enterviews she was in and all she keeped saying that all this "IS NOT FAR" but she just jokingly laugh it off but she was hurting!!!! you take your rest NIPPY love you still and ever!!!! (JUST YOUR BIGGEST FAN)

I don't think she ever really sounding bad singing Gospel. It's your passion for the Lord, what makes you an excellent Gospel singer.

Omgoodness. You could feel how raw and vulnerable she was. She truly sis love the Lord. Such a heartfelt performance, really touches your soul. Thank God she is in a better place and at peace.

I see reels of all her live versions, and i feel such joy to her sing like she is singing to me, not at me, no matter which song, like telling me a story. but in the same breath feel great sadness that we will never hear another album or live grammy performance.
