So first of all, I want to say that I enjoyed the video but I'm confused about one thing: I have a playlist of "closed eyes ASMR" to get to sleep to and I've noticed every video has light triggers. Do people keep their phone in front of them when listening to these?

Yep, I have mine propped up next to me while I'm falling asleep to make sure I can "see" every minute of the light triggers. They're my favourite.

It varies from person to person. I put my phone next to me and fall asleep, only occasionaly looking what's going on the screen. Do as you prefer : )
