0:33 - this scene hits me the hardest in the whole movie, more than the orgy. I don't know why. I think it's her slight knowing smile. She understands what's going on, and it's very unnerving to have a 15yo look at you in such a sexual way, something that should only be done by fully grown adults. It feels like there's a premature loss of innocence. And the worst part is, she's been groomed to be completely fine with it and even does an excellent job of this sick role that her own father makes her do. She's the best actor/tress in the movie imo.

@@user-bm1ws8hp1q I'd doubt it too, but these are the end moments of the movie. We don't know what happened after. He seemed to be more interested in knowing the fate of others than intervening in it on a person level. As a doctor, he was quite the opposite in his professional life. His defense, to his wife, of giving breast exams suggests that. Regardless, Kubrick was good at making us wonder.

She was 15 or 16 in 1999, I think its a little wierd showing a teenage girl in her underwear but I guess it's OK then since no one talked about it.
