This anime is special for me. I grew up with this. I also followed the manga until the end. Oh, I also had this kind of weeb power up during my childhood days. I remember that time I got hooked up with the Slam Dunk manga, I somehow got a basketball power up and became one of the top scorer students in a PE basketball shooting exam (second only to a legit basketball ace in my class) simply by imitating the movement from the manga. Then I found Eyeshield 21. And oh boi. I became one of the fastest runner in my year even tho I was just an unmotivated kid who prefer playing games indoor lol. I was also becoming good at moving fast while evading people. Tho since I can't use other Eyeshield techniques on PE class, I remember that I used the simplified Hurricane Ghost when I was playing game of tags. Someone grabbed my shirt, and in my mind suddenly the word "SPIN!" popped up. And I managed to escape lol. Good old time. Back then, simple anime and manga like this is so great.

@@lj5604 It really seems the artist behind One-Punch Man can do no wrong. Yusuke Murata helped Saitama reached the big leagues years ago when One-Punch Man got its own manga. In the years since, Murata has become one of manga's most impressive artists with many calling him one of the greatest ever. So of course, all eyes were on Murata when he posted a curious video about Eyeshield 21. After all, the artist shared a video to Twitter highlighting Eyeshield 21. The animation reel appears to have been done by Murata which is rather impressive on its own. The colorful promo goes on to confirm Murata is working on a new Eyeshield 21 one-shot known as Brain x Brave. The one-shot also inspired this animated promo, and the two projects were ordered to honor the 21st anniversary of Eyeshield 21.

原作だとスピンの分0.１秒の遅れのせいで追いつかれたって書かれてたけど、4.２秒が4.３秒になったって水町が後ろから追いつけるわけないと思うんだが。

水町は別に阿含みたいに超反応したわけではないよ。 普段は最前線にいるけど、この時は「フォーメーションポセイドン」で元々後ろに下がってたのがまず1つ。 それと筧にスピンを使った0.1秒の遅れとスピン使用後に僅かにトップスピードから減速してしまったがもう一つの要因。これは溝六も「スピンを使った分の遅れがアダになった」と言っている。（因みにこの辺の弱点は後の王城戦で「デビルライトハリケーン」という必殺技に進化して解消されている） あとセナのスピードは東京大会時点では40ヤード4.2秒ではない。 この後のガンマンズ戦で40ヤード4.5秒の陸とほぼ同速であることが描写されているから、この時はまだセナのアベレージスピードは4.5秒前後くらいであるのが推測できる。 ケルベロスの追走無しでもコンスタントに4.2秒出るようになったのは盤戸戦の最後のパントリターンで覚醒した後ね。（参照はその盤戸戦を見てた進の証言と、神龍寺戦前に練習で測定した描写） 作者の都合でキャラの強さが変動しているように見えるときも確かにあるにはあるけど、一応「こういう要因があったからこうなっている」的な最低限の説明はされていることが多いから、また暇な時にでもじっくり読んでみるといいかもしれませんよ。（特にアイシーは漫画が説明も多くて1番オススメです）
