Sorry for the noob question, but what exactly is an assist? Is it getting most of the damage on someone and then someone else kills them?

Kills actually matter more than damage, winning 1v1s is much more beneficial than milking useless damage in terms of actually trying to win

I will never get beat by someone stacking kills. As someone who has gotten 40+ kills with the 2nd person in the 20s and still not top 3, i will say damage and assists significantly outway kills on score. I also say that it depends the context between the 1v1 vs stat padding. If they "stat padder" is just hitting random people and doing nothing of course the 1v1 is better. Having said that if the person is contributing to the ball and kills then the "stat padder: is significantly more valuable even with no kills. If you are killing healers that's a different story.

@@DynaPirate I also say that you should always play to win in the video. I am most of the time top 5 in kills and top 3 in assists, but this video is more to help people get their stats up just a tad

@@ParfaxGaming so i think telling ppl to pad their stats is a bit dangerous. my servers opr has gone to shit with stat padders doing meaningless damage

honestly, this system is so fuck'd up, they need it to rebuild it srsly.... it is enough to change a few things, one of the most important is that after the strikes the character should die immediately without the "state before death" when the player can be resurrected adn remove all "assists" other bulshits , just pure kill or dmg, points for pure kill, less for dmg and for healers points depending about heal amount they did to their temamates

Range + uncontested damage = high score. As a melee player respectfully this meta is absolutely dog water 15-20+ range user a game. Fighting in the middle of the road between moon and mid having a shoot out IS NOT FUN GAMEPLAY, and you are not actually playing the objective or doing anything useful……. You’re stat padding.
