I've been shooting the EZ V for a few weeks now, & I agree with everything you say about it. The Sapphire sights are great for low light conditions. I like that that the tick marks are visible through the back side. It allowed me to customize my own tick marks. I like having the 20 yard tick marks for close shots. I added the 40 yard tick marks recently. I just use a fine tip Sharpie. When crunch time comes, I don't want to be looking at several sets of tick marks. I rely on the V for everything in between 20-40 yards. It doesn't take long for your instincts to take over. I judge this sight by my 10-40 yards groups taken at unknown distances, because that's bowhunting. I used a single fix vertical pin or crosshair (no multiple pins or slider) for decades. I like keeping these things simple, & I do best when my instincts take over. Since I was used to centering my sight picture with a single pin, I do rely on the 20 yard tick marks for close shots. I find visualizing the vitals being a basketball (9.5" diameter) works best for me. I really like the sight picture of the EZ V, because my eyes (& the rest of me) aren't getting any younger.

Hey Brian...I have been curious about this sight...getting older and eyes aint what they used to be...ranging and moving sights on tape etc is quite a bit to do in the heat of the moment...all deer dont mosey in and stand broadside to have their chest pierced by a sharp stick...thanks for the review ...awesome channel keep up the great work!...

Go for it. I just got one this year and already feel comfortable to go hunting with it. So much easier to see no more blur no more hard time focusing or seeing. Ditch the peep also add a kisser or nose button. You’ll be able to shoot righ till last legal light

It's amazing how many slap the trigger or punch that thumb button release. Where in hell do they learn this shit? It's obvious they have no clue how the brain works. I've only seen one guy in all the TOTAL ARCHERY CHALLENGE videos that does the trigger right

I have a traditional takedown recurve bow. 45# draw @ 28"... The riser is strong laminated imoregnated wood. So, can this system be installed and used properly with what I have? 400 spine arrows are 180 fps, and hog arrows (1,000 grain) are around 140 fps with incredible penetrstion...and have a lot of drop. I generally do not shoot past 25 yards shooting instinctively....hoping something like the ezv with a peep installed could make a real difference...tell me honestly please....

The lowest fps for ezv sight is 200 fps

@@danproffett4986 Yes I follow him...my bow shoots 400 spine arrows 180 fps, and high foc arrows around 150 fps....That arrow weighs 1,000 grains and penetrates EVERYTHING!

the jist is the closer animal is bigger so to get the vitals between the V posts you have to frame it higher, as the animal is further away the same picture is smaller so to frame it you do so lower in the V of the sight. the initial paper target is setup to show you the proper picture between posts.
