Escape to the enchanting Scottish highlands with me and two strangers on a magical autumn canoe camping trip. The vivid colours of autumn are in full display, making the scenery truly breathtaking.
But don't be fooled, the elements put our shelter setup skills to the test. Heavy rain and a very wet environment, plus boggy conditions made finding a campsite challenging. With the mercury dropping to single digits, it was a true test of endurance.
But through it all, we persevered and were rewarded with cozy campfires, a banter-filled atmosphere, and heart-warming food that fueled our spirits. Join us on this unforgettable adventure as we challenge ourselves and the elements, and come out the other side with unforgettable memories.
If you're looking for inspiration for your next outdoor excursion, this video is a must-watch. Come along for the ride and experience the beauty and challenge of autumn canoe camping in the Scottish highlands.

Much better litter wise, we did pick up some bits here and there, Fred took home a crate with half a tent in it someone left somewhere but generally was really good!! Build up your adventures, you can do night trips too, it will be super rewarding! Just take your time, choose a good and easy location, plan it well safety wise and give it a shot :-) ! Another epic adventure, so inspiring. At the end you mentioned the wind; I was on Lake Bala in Wales a couple of weeks ago and the wind turned against me. I was fighting so hard, almost panicking. Ha, I can laugh now, but at the time hmmm...not fun. Great vid Eze! Looking forward to the next one!

Hey there, thanks so much! Yeah I know I do agree with you. At the moment I won't go if the weather is likely to bust my tent.. The bass fishing was slow to start this yr but by September they were about, every yr is different, all to do with tides and time, I did the outer Hebrides twice on the motorbike on my own, gave me ideas once theses difficult times pass 🤞, it’s a place where I came back from very humbled, took the 5 hr ferry from Oban to barra then took the hopscotch ferries across the other islands, Hushinish beach is a must, Cher’s Mitch 👍

This is your best video to date, absolutely stunning, even in the rain it looked beautiful. Fantastic colours, camera work, content and editing. This is what wild camping and canoeing is all about. Best video I have seen in a long while and features two of my favourite KZfaqrs. I’m watching it in front of a nice fire but really I want to be out in my canoe doing this. Sorry about your drone, if it was a Mavic Air 2 you need to turn the sensors off as flying over water can mess them up, a low hover can turn into a slow sink.
@EzeAdventurer
@EzeAdventurer 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you Timsy I appreciate your kind words!! Really was stunning, the colours were on FIRE! Yes despite the rain, it was absolutely beautiful! How cool to watch it by the fire, definitely adds to the senses and connects you even more! The drone actually had been given me warnings for a while and I kept ignoring them... I was pretty stupid about it and it eventually just gave up on me and fell on the Loch!! Was quite a moment, but still it's just material loss vs huge spiritual gain from the trip!!! Hope you can get out there soon bud! Best wishes as always, Eze.

@@EzeAdventurer with your filming and editing skills, how about a Mavic 3? To the average joe like myself it wouldn’t make a lot of sense to upgrade but I reckon you could make full use of its capabilities and add even more wow factor. The only problem I’ve seen with it is some of the features are not available until a firmware update. You are going to have a problem beating this video but I bet you will!

@@timsytanker Oh no... I've watched the video on the DJI website for the Mavic 3... I can't unwatch it.... It's an absolute BEAST! So beautiful.... I'm strongly considering it as a long term investment.... (you know you're in trouble when you start using that word to justify purchases!)

@@EzeAdventurer he he! I think object tracking is delayed until a firmware update. I’ve seen the optical avoidance on it and it performs brilliantly.
