This is a really interesting camera from Ezviz that uses two lenses to record full color night vision. It records in 1080p at 30fps and it uses a 4mm lens.
It supports up to 256GB MicroSD card and you can watch the recorded footage directly from the SD card in the Ezviz app.

One additional point some may want to consider is that Ezviz apparently is a subsidiary of the Chinese surveillance company Hikvision which is partially state-owned and works on government projects.

I can't see the advanced stuff you mention in the video. The pc program doesn't show it. If I use HIKlookvision I can acces those advanced options but not with the Ezviz app. Am I missing something?

How to visit the “Advanced Setting” of EZVIZ Studio? 1) Go to the root directory of EZVIZ Studio in your PC and find the folder named “config”. 2) Copy the file named “AppConfig.ini” in the folder of “config” to desktop. Open “AppConfig.ini” in desktop 3) Add the following command which highlighted in yellow in “AppConfig.ini” and save before exiting. [LocalOperation] Show=1 4) Copy the “AppConfig.ini” file in desktop to folder of “config” and overlay the old one. Refresh the device page in EZVIZ Studio or reopen the Studio, then you will see the “Advanced”. 5) If you want to hide the “Advanced” setting, please change the command “Show=1” to “Show=0”, then reopen the EZVIZ studio.

Thanks for this extensive review. 3 days ago i thought of buying this camera but went for the Imou G26EP instead because if offers Onvif. The Imou G26EP is like any other Dahua camera under the hood with the typical webinterface. It doesn’t have the 2 lenses but still the night time color is pretty good. The C3X might still be better though, keen to see some more night color footage. Couldn’t find info on Onvif or RTSP streams for this C3X cam so thanks for clarifying. The EZVIZ and Imou apps are pretty similair.

Ezviz also offers the Onvif protocol, I did some tests connecting 2 Ezviz Cameras to a XVR Dahua by Onvif and it works perfect.

They need to rethink where they put the reset buttons on these external cameras, the cameras are often mounted very high up on buildings and if you ever need to reset them... accessing that reset button can be impossible. It's even more stupid to put it behind a flap, even if you do manage to get up to the camera, 5-6m up a building outstretched on a ladder trying to unscrew two tiny philips head screws is super dangerous. What they need for these is a remote reset option in addition to a physical button, it's just poorly thought out. I've nearly killed myself today trying to reset my camera hence the comment.

I don't think there is any. It's always full color unless complete darkness. 3 meters is the recommended height.

well, the problem that I see is the IRleds that turn on at night (red color) and make the camera easily detectable, those of EZVIZ still do not improve this aspect, which I see as essential. Another aspect is their AI, I don't know, difference between car and person or animal, for example, when they see a car it sends you a "it has detected a car" message. That for example does the SimCam and that is AI. I would have preferred to have added a PIR semsor as it would not give many false alarms. and the format would have been better a Dome type or a PTZ Dome

when you use RTSP can you chose witch camera to stream ? (since I see that is dual lens) Is this something you select via app from the setting ? Or you have two different URL ?

No, the camera records with both lenses then merged them together to one image, so only one stream.

Hi! Thank you for the review. I just ordered the C3X-cam based on your review. Could you please tell me, which version of EzViz PC-software are you using? Mine is 2.0.4 and my camera configuration screen is totally different from yours :( I cannot access stream quality etc from there. Only some very basic settings Also; It doesn't seem to support C3N for anything but live stream. I can see there are recordings there, but cannot watch them with PC software. Nothing happens when I try to watsch them. With C6N-cam the videos works but I don't see the thumbnails. Only Ezviz ezTube-camera seems to be fully supported by my version. The problem is: This is the only version I am able to find.

Hi, I'm using the same as you. Some others also had same problem as you, not sure why, I just downloaded the program from Ezviz website and it worked. Hi dear, Can you confirm if the power adapter, the INPUT is 110 to 240 volts? I need to confirm this before buying this camera. You bought this camera in the US right? Thanks!

Yes, power adapter INPUT is 100-240 volts. Camera itself is 12v.

Hi, I have seen many reviews of C3X and finally bought the camera about a month back, since then I am regretting my decision. The connectivity is major issue, camera is heating up and no one response from customer care. Now I almost invested $800 on these cameras so I have to find a solution, can you please support me to understand following If I give Ethernet connection to Camera will it solve the connectivity issue, I believe the answer is yes but then how I 1. Use the app and see the footage, operate other functions. Will the app still be useful? 2. I have NVR connected to router, so with LAN wire recording should be better and camera won't go offline again and again (mot of the cameras are going offline every 10/15 minutes, will this issue will be taken care with LAN connection) I have many many question, but if you can help me with above that would be really really helpful

I wouldn't worry about the cameras getting hot, that's normal with these cameras. About the connectivity problem it depends on what that the reason is. Can't you test with one camera wired and see if the problem goes away? You say most of the cameras, is it the cameras that are farthest away from your NVR that gets disconnected? Yes the app will still work.

@@Securitybros thanks guys. Yes I am connecting 2 of them with wire now but for other 3 I am still having the issue, so just moved one of the router very close to the cameras and also reinstalling it.. hopefully it works now, will know in few hours.. 👍👍

I think they are both nice cameras. C3X have more features but also higher price.

@@ibrocka The range I don't know but only C3X using AI and can tell the difference between humans and vehicles. You won't get many false alarms with either camera though. Image quality is probably about the same.

What is the pc program you're using ? Is it ezviz studio ? You call it pc client. I have ezviz studio with cameras C1C and C3WN but i don't see the settings you show on this video. At 05:23, i don't see "advanced", i click on all devices and i see all my devices, that's it, i don't see what you show. Is this setting only for the C3X ? I also use iSPY on windows and tinycam on android to get round the timeout issue.Also i find iSPY a lot less cpu hungry. Thanks.

Yes its Ezviz Studio. You need to make sure you have "Found Devices on Lan" in the top of that screen. I can access the same settings on the CTQ3 (ezyguard) so you should have the same settings. Also make sure you are logged in as Administrator.

@@Securitybros Thanks. I tried run as administrator from desktop icon (right click, run as admin) the ezviz studio app opened the same. Mine doesn't find devices on LAN.At 05:23, you're looking at devices on your account, not LAN. Thanks.

Hello, the same thing happens to me with my C3X and also the C3N. I see both cameras in the windows app Ezviz Studio, but it doesn't show me the Advance option in All Device. Could you solve it? I have both cameras connected by wifi and the signal reaches them very well. Thank you very much.

Imou and Ezviz bullet cameras are good quality so probably any of them.
