Non of the content is pre planned or run on private servers. This is recorded on a Public Person Vs Person PVP Dynamic Multiplayer server called TEMPEST BlueFlash. Pre-planned merges on private servers miss the element of surprise which happens very often on public servers and gives the pilot very little or no time to react and plan a strategy.
I’m doing my flying in Virtual Reality, and I think that VR is a great but I’m recording my flights thru the replay function in DCS to avoid the jitteriness from direct VR recording. If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, IL2 Sturmovik, F-16 Falcon 4.0, Operation Flashpoint, Armed assault, Arma 2, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16 Falcon / Viper, F-15 Eagle, F-14 Tomcat, JF-17, Su-27 Flanker, Mig-29 Fulcrum, Mirage M2000, Mig-21 Fishbend, F-5 Tiger, A-10 Thunderbolt, SU-25 Frogfoot and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like Huey, mi-8, KA-50, Ah-64 Apache. There are lots of ww2 airplanes too like Spitfire, P-51 Mustang, P-47 Thunderbolt, BF-109 and more.

The DCS Professor is in the house, providing an extremely valuable lesson in both (1) patience and (2) energy management. I am unsure of your merge speeds against the F-15E but I will best guess 2, 600 knot merges and turn circles against the Strike Eagle, all to patiently place yourself IN THE POSITION to MAKE that hard turn to launch the FOX 2. By maintaining your energy state (very high) through your large but very fast turn circles, you gave yourself the gift of energy to burn/bleed for the FOX-2 launch. The final turn caused you to bleed your energy THANKS to your patience and preservation of energy. If it weren't for the gift of 600 knots, you wouldn't have been able to SPEND it to get the 350-450 knots necessary to make that final tight turn for the FOX 2 and kill. It took two large and very fast turn circles to gain the angles to make the FOX 2 shot. Now... if the angles were not there to pull him into the HUD for the FOX 2 shot, you still had 600 knots to work with; (a) continue with a third 600 knot, horizontal turn (b) take your delicious 600 knots and spend it in the vertical (c) take your glorious 600 knots and turn it into 700 knots and extend to reassess or, (d) take your scrumptious 600 knots - soon to be 700+ knots - home with you and live to fight another day. Once again SICARIO, superb ACM airmanship and the PRIME example of how to dominate in what appears to be a sub-par, obsolete jet. Let it be known and ring true, "Its not the jet... its the pilot" that ultimately decides the outcome of all engagements. Your opponent has a better wing, better engines, better weapons, has DATALINK, and a second set of eyes yet all this is irrelevant and when one pilot is a better pilot. Its not the machine... its the Man. Salute ~S!

Hi KW! Great hearing from you again 🫡 yes, in this case Speed saves lives 😁 and I had exactly that in mind what you described above, I will have a few choices if SHTF.. His plane, if flown well, could have made mash out of me so I was very restrictive in getting too close. Knowing now that he was more of a mediocre flyer I would have gone in closer and even tried a gun kill, but that’s easy to say now. This was my first sortie using the radar, and oh my I was lucky with that first engagement. I had my mouth open when I saw the Tomcat catch fire.. My love for the F-1 sky rocketed at that moment, and I was thirsty for more! Will push the F-1 in my fights going forward due to that the she has actually more to give than I first thought against these Gen 4 planes.. (ps. i see the F-14 as a Gen3+++/4) Keep well and chat soon buddy! 🫡

Haha 😁 yea the D is tough. Mu say I was surprised how well the Mantra tracked in my first fight, only learned the radar the flight before so you can only imagine me stunned when it got the F-14 😅

demn the way you had the f15E on youre six and you managed to go behind the mountain and pop up behind him and shoot him down is just pure skill and game sense

It takes a bit work especially with an older plane, one just has to think way ahead. Lucky for me it all went well 🙂

It did on the F-1, but had a sick fight with the F-14 earlier and the track thru me out of DCS 😄

Makes me so happy the Mirage F1 get appreciated, such a great module, only thing I dont like is it has a bit poor visibility but you get so much for the money and its just quality all the way through, no regrets with this one, I just need to make more use of it, I mostly do joyrides because combat is scary and hard, I cant see sh*t so I give up! xD

The tight space with the limited viz is scary at times, especially when one has to locate the enemy or incoming threat. I do still manage since I’m flying in Vr. One eye will be able to look past the obstacle, while the other blindly follows haha. The F-1 has become one of my top 3 modules

Thank you for the support! The replay function has been bugged in DCS, reason why I have not done any new videos. Had many nice flights which would have been fun to watch. A10 is a fun machine, one day I might do a video with it 🫡
