I think if the amount on the bank statement is enough to cover you too and also be prepared to convince the visa officer

I think it also depends on the deficits remaining I.e. cost of living expenses, insurance, books, etc, and if dad can have proof of sufficient funds.. Mum and dad and other siblings can be family ties.

@@user-cz6sl4hp5r My work experience, why MS now and my previous Us travel. Everyone’s interview is different because it’s a personal interview. Just make sure your story is very clear to yourself first, work on your communication skills and be confident. Your story should in the end convince the officer of your home ties, your academic credibility and your finances. Good luck!

Hi, I need your help. I applied for an F1 visa to the USA, and my interview is in August. The thing is, my sister is in the USA on a B1/B2 visa, and she requested a work permit. It's been 5 months, and she hasn't come back to her home country. Should I tell the officer that I have a relative living in the USA, or should I say that she is on vacation and will come back?
