I would consider myself a good player. I bought the F5C on sale when they finally went on sale for console in January, Ive got like 270 kills in it, and like 110 deaths, like 160~180 battles, and I really want the F14. I stock grinded Israel and I have everything in that TT, so I want something new, and the F14 sounds really nice rn

@@batlax18that kd ratio is amazing compared to most f5c and thanks to f5c players i have 200 death and 500 kills in my mig21 smt with around 300 battles

Assign a button to the command to activate/deactivate the missile homing head, it also helps reset the lock; in this video, resetting the lock target was often needed.

well in bvr you change the radar coverage and the distance, then just select the target that is best for you, there are two ways to choose the targets, with the selector (select target) or manually, but the manual choice is more complex , for close range, in the settings there is a control to change to close-range combat, the name of the control is: "radar/irst beyond/within visual range combat", configure this and you can change between close-range and BVR mode :)

At this time they hadn't yet fixed the F-14's radar so hear aspect shots with the Sparrow in the tomcat were very difficult with the PD, the standard search worked but was easily lost to chaffs

@@Bad_Karma777 Oh man thx for saying that, I just got F14 and I was like what in a heck am I doing wrong, I used to work on F14s and I knew they have one of the best radars in the USA arsenal. So I'm glad it's not all me, what is usually the distance you shoot the Phoenix C, and what distance I can break the lock and the Phoenix radar will take over without losing the target?

How did you get half the team to go for you? In my games I can get one guy and the rest are fighting my team in a giant furball lol

you have to break their initial route before the furball starts, if many go after you your team will most of the time have a big advantage, but that depends on how much pressure you are going to put on this super aggressive position, see from where im coming from at the start of every game

I don't think it's bad; after all, it's an upgrade from the F-14A. It's true that you do face bigger threats, but it has a weaponry kit more than prepared for that :) you won't be ace in 12.7 matches but you will get your 1~3 recurring kills per game without any problems

the way it is in the game, the aim 54 is more of a suppression weapon than a kill weapon itself, sometimes you will kill a sleeping enemy or someone else high up but the phoenix rarely kills in defensive positions, don't take too long to take up positions defensive when using this missile!!
