Takes a high school diploma to fix what a college degree breaks. Make sure to thank a crew chief! The 12 hours shifts and constant abuse by supervision makes it a thankless Job.

Even with sporadic bouts of AF BS, some of the best 3-1/2 yrs of my life, wrenching F-15 engines (and secondary power) -- 2-1/2 yrs at Bitburg, and the last 13 months at Luke.

No the real reason we put folded flags in the cockpit is to say this "this flag flew a combat sortie over the hostile skies of (insert country here) on the (day, month, year) in honor of (name of person or organization). They make nice gifts for people to hang on walls.
