As a fighter pilot in the United States Air Force, we go up against F-16s at red flag exercises and we mop the floor with them, in other words, we eat the F-16s lunch, having said that, it's a fantastic aircraft and a very capable fighter! They're building brand new F-15EXs for one reason and one reason only, because it's the greatest air superiority fighter in the world and they're not going to let go of it! F-15 first took flight on July 27th, 1972 and it just celebrated it's 50th anniversary on July 27th, 2022! Incredible and with the new F-15EXs they'll be around for approximately another 50 years, for a grand total of 100 years! Unbelievable! We're all looking forward to the new F-15EX and had a chance to see what this thing can do and it's mind blowing! Mach 2.5 + and they increased the weapons load and radar capabilities and I'm not going to say any more than that! Long live the Eagle! I would personally like to think Boeing and Fairchild Republic for giving me the opportunity to fly two of the most magnificent aircraft in the world, the F-15 Eagle and the A-10 Thunderbolt 2! F-16 is probably the most dangerous fighter to go against it's small hard to see and can turn on a Dime because of it's fly by wire system though F-15 is more powerful but it's a bigger target that's why it was called the flying Tennis Court i give F-16 edge in close air combat maneuvers but beyond visual range F-15 get the edge

The F-15 has always been my favorite fighter. It dominated the world's skies until the F-22. That being said, the F-16 is a thug, the Honey Badger of the air and lb/lb, $/$ the F-16 has been and will remain the king. Especially in a dogfight. If you can only have 1 fighter, you'd be crazy not to take the F16. The stealth fighters are good, but they are high maintenance headaches without a massive military industrial complex behind it.

F15 has better thrust to weight ratio, payload, ferry range, and higher top speed. It's one of the handful of aircraft in the world that can actually increase speed going vertical. Incredibly powerful engines. F16 has always been more maneuverable. Over the years, modifications to the F-16 have proven the planes more versatile and capable than even its original designers had anticipated. They both do different things better. Both are awesome planes.

I hope neither plane is ever retired. They’ve been so dominant that, with updates, they can hold their own well into the future. They’re such sexy aircraft.

The way the F-16 just rips across those high speed turns looks absolutely amazing. To think civilians will have access to demilitarized F-16's is mind blowing.

F16 is a fantastic single fighter, less means more in this matter...less weight, its more maneuverable..its born to fight..and a beautifully designed aircraft...its perfect..believe me bigger is not always better.
