✴Russian Su-57 Fighter : The Sukhoi Su-57 is a stealth, single-seat, twin-engine multirole fifth-generation jet fighter being developed since 2002 for air superiority and attack operations. The aircraft is the product of the PAK FA, a fifth-generation fighter programme of the Russian Air Force. Sukhoi's internal name for the aircraft is T-50. The Su-57 is planned to be the first aircraft in Russian military service to use stealth technology. Its maiden flight took place on 29 January 2010 and the first production aircraft is expected to be delivered in 2019 with a second to follow in 2020.
✴F-35 Fighter : The Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II is a family of single-seat, single-engine, all-weather, stealth, fifth-generation, multirole combat aircraft, designed for ground-attack and "air-superiority" missions. we have already paid a lot of money for the development of su 57 to Russia, we must buy it. F 35 is very expensive and requires a lot of maintenance for flying. While Russian jets are cheap, easy to maintain, robust. Developing our own fighter is going to take much time, we can't take that risk.

Sukhoi are more maneuverable but not stealthy because of large body and engines heat signature while on the other hand F-35 are stealthy but not maneuverable as the PAK-FA but when it comes to a dogfight it doesn't totally depends on the aircraft but also on who is in a better position to lock down and fire.

Wahi Jo Pakistan me kutte ki tarah maar khaya? Pakistan ne to f-16 use hi nah kiya to tum log gira kise diye? Agar Pakistan f-16 use kiya hota to wah tumare kisi nah kisi fighter plan ke camera me jarur hota aur tumara airforce ab tak dikha chuka hota. Jhootha ojotoshop me banaya image ko radar ka image bata tum logo ko bewkuf bana diya. Tumare jahil force ko to itna bhi knowledge nah hai ki Jis missile ko dekha bol raha hai ki ye sirf f-16 me use hota hai wah missile jf-17 me bhi use hota hai.

Taking into the consideration of getting S400 from Russia,India should not get into an "either F35 or S400"situation and opt for a limited number fleet of Su 57 for IAF.India can modify them later via Tech Transfer from Russia,our old time and all weather friend.It will also help India to fill the fleet gap till AMCA comes up.

Su-57 cross section is 0.5 which is the size of a truck tyre whereas F35 cross section is 0.001 the size of golf ball, also Su57 engine is of 4th generation....

F 35 can't beat the su 57 in 2020 , not even the f 22 , the su 57 doesn't have it's engines which are required to be stealthy , but still it is an equivalent to f 35 using non stealth engines,now it has more better radar,the su 57 has l band aesa radar which is superior to x band radars,it provides 360 degree stealth coverage , f 35 can't supercruise and is not super maneuverable ,these r the requirements of being a fifth gen fighter,so f 35 is not a fifth gen fighter

Actually the most important part in the development of amca is it's indigenous engine.if India can develop a super Sonic indigenous engine then I am pretty sure amca will be the most lethal 5th gen air craft in the world due to its weapons particularly the brahmos missile.

We should go for su57 but should only buy 1 squadron so we can make good experience of how & what 5 generation aircraft’s r meant to do as we have invested in this program already this will also help us in developing of our own 5 generation aircraft as technology transfer r already done in su57 deal ( it has to be) this will also stability the number of squadron as many of our aircraft r about to retire and we will also be on time in replacing atleast 5 generation!!!! Where whole world is arguing over 5 generation we r still stuck in mmrca2.0

Everyone AMCA is a MEDIUM COMBAT aircraft. SU 57 is a FLYING TANK. First we need an engine that can cruise Mach 2.0 without afterburners. All other frames and technology are just cosmetics.

Lol bro, SU - 57E isn't even completely 5th Generation because of its stealth in addition to that it's engine is the same of SU - 35 which is another proof that it is not 5th Gen. The one which was to be 5th Generation was FGFA but due to Russia's arrogance, they f*cked up.

I think it the f-35...spend less and get more features...it's definitely better than su-57. I know that su has more capability when comes to payload .but we are talking about stealth capability... I think we should give more focus to the f-35, because it has more stealth capabilities than su. and su also 140-150 million but f-35 is 110 to 120 million..it's light and when comes to payload, there is not much difference between these two gen 5 fighters. it's better not to buy anything ...and develop one

Soon IAF will order 3-4 squadrons of Su-57s which will replace Su-30s and IAF will go with Su-57 like MIG-29UPG and in modern day wars Air Force always play a critical and important role in all aspects and I also learned only 3 or 4 fighters will always proved a gamechanger tool
