On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8.

Important to note that the .50 Cal M3 guns used in the F-86 have a much higher rate of fire (1200 RPM) while the six (6) guns were harmonized to converge at 1,000 ft (300 m) in front of the aircraft. Very cool fight, thank you GS.

I think one of the advantages of MiG 15 and Sabre in the fights like that is that they are so small and hard to nail compared with modern day aircraft. A lot of those shots looked like they would hit you if you were in something like a Tomcat or a Flanker.

Not really when it's a plane made for one specific envelope versus one that would realistically turn it into a burnt out spec on the ground before even getting into the envelope the other one is any good at. But BVR and totally unfair fights don't make for especially interesting videos so this is what he focuses on.

you are right, the mig29 pilots did everything it was not supposed to do against a sabre, the only few disadvatages it has against an old jet, it proceeds to do those mistakes. However if both jets have equally good pilots the mig29 is gonna crush the sabre any day of the week.

Thanks for that really incredible video, one of your best that I've seen. i love that you're trying to make the dogfights interesting, a sure way to win this would be to speed away and climb over the enemy, and boom and zoom, retain the energy and bleed the enemy of theirs until they're on the deck slow

Growling sidewinder, can you do the dogfight between F22 Raptor VS Modernization version MIG 29K Fulcrum with split throttle on it that was shown on the video of MIG 29 VS F/A 18 on your channel. I know this is a death match for MIG 29K Fulcrum but still it can manage to challenge the competitor in a dogfight with split throttle, Modernized weapons and some pilot skill there is a chance to challenge or might defeat an F22 in a dogfight.

50 cals seem to be outperforming the23s and 37mm of Mig 15.🤔 Still a really good fight though.

They have a much better muzzle velocity which makes them easier to aim over long distances. Of course, the 23s and 37s do much more damage when they do hit. That lone .50cal did nothing early on but could have easily been a fight ender had it been a 37mm.

Landing in La Paz back in the 1970s Bolivia, I was laughing at the Bolivian air force who had like three F-86s. As an arrogant American teenager I said, "who are they going to whip with 3 antique F-86s? My dad, who was a F-86 pilot in the 50s said, "maybe Paraguay or Peru. I was humbled. Figher pilots are a breed apart.

It's really interesting to see how capable an old, but designed for short range against a BVR fighter. I wonder how shorter this fight could be if the Fulcrum fight against a Mig-15 :) But the Mig-15 has a big disadvantage: we cannot see the pilot's cool face, only the Sabre's mirror is designed for that :D
